Women's MITB 2017 Cash-In Specials Update For September 9th

The Kambi oddsmakers' WWE Money in the Bank specials were republished the other day so, in this morning's post, I'll point out how the odds differ from when I looked over them in August.

With only the women's briefcase in play, the markets are focused on Carmella's cash-in whenever that may be.

Briefcase Cash-In To Be Successful?
The market is unchanged from the last few times it had been available. The 'Yes' is 1/100 and the 'No' is 10/1.

At the risk of repeating myself, it would be counter-productive to have the first-ever Ms. Money in the Bank fail whenever she cashes in her immediate title shot, so I strongly believe the odds are spot on.

Show Of Briefcase Cash-In
In this particular market, the customers can have a bet where the cash-in takes place. The two options are 'Raw or Smackdown' or 'PPV/WWE Network Special (or any other show)'.

As you can see in the image above, both options have moved to 17/20 since August. Interestingly, the option for the cash-in to occur during an episode of Smackdown has been lowered from EVS. I guess with the way Smackdown is booked nowadays, a cash-in could happen on live TV. We've already seen one this year with Baron Corbin's failed attempt, so anything is possible.

There could be another reason why the bookie has lowered the odds for a TV cash-in.

It's worth noting that Naomi will challenge Natalya for the title in a rematch from SummerSlam 2017 on next week's episode of Smackdown. The oddsmakers may have snipped 'Raw/Smackdown' just in case Naomi regains the title only for Carmella to cash-in.

In the days leading up to SummerSlam, I was shown a BS story that stated Naomi would be WWE Smackdown Women's Champion right up to WrestleMania 34. I passed it on to two other people and both laughed it off. One of the people who responded told me that, when the time comes, Carmella is likely to cash-in on Naomi. We know that the story about Naomi running with the strap all the way to Mania has been confirmed as fake, but there is still a small chance that the idea that Naomi is the person who is cashed in on could turn out accurate if they do go with Naomi regaining only for Carmella to pull the rug out from under her.

Time Of Women's Briefcase Cash-In
In this market, customers can have a bet on the time-frame when the contract is executed.

Since the most recent post about these odds, the 'During SummerSlam' selection has expired. Therefore, the entire list has been readjusted with the odds for the remaining four selections cut.

'Between 1st Day After SummerSlam, But Before Survivor Series' has been snipped from 6/4 into EVS, 'Between Survivor Series, But Before WrestleMania' is now 2/5 from 3/4, 'During WrestleMania' has lowered from 10/1 to 8/1 and 'On 1st Day After WrestleMania 34 Or Later' is down to 8s from 12/1.

As I've noted in previous posts, 'Between Survivor Series, But Before WrestleMania 34' being the favourite makes sense because it covers a lot of ground. Not that I would bet on these selections now.

If I were to offer anything to those who think there's a chance that Carmella cashes in the briefcase next week, the best course of action is to bet on the 'Between 1st Day After SummerSlam, But Before Survivor Series' in this market at EVS because you're getting better odds than the 17/20 for 'Raw/Smackdown' in the 'Show Of Briefcase Cash-In'. On top of this, you're also covered for other episodes of Smackdown in the lead-in to Survivor Series. You also cover the Hell in a Cell PPV, if the cash-in occurs during that event.

Odds correct as of 9am BST today.
