New 'Highest Rated Match' Market Published For TLC 2017

In the most recent post, I went through all of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter betting specials for Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2017 and noted that a 'Highest Rated Match on the Card' market had been pulled. It has since been republished after being adjusted.

The original market was offering customers the opportunity to bet on Asuka versus Emma (3/5), Handicap TLC Match (21/20) or 'Any Other Match' (7/2).

I pointed out that the removal could have been because a potential great match in Finn Balor versus AJ Styles would have qualified for 'Any Other Match'. It seems I might have been correct as the new market is now offering two options - 'Balor .vs. Styles' or 'Any Other Match'.


The Balor versus Styles bout is an 11/20 favourite while the option to punt on any of the other attractions is out at 13/10.

    Went for 13/10 - Shield match at TLC in 2012 got 4.5/5 stars - Kurt angle returning too... Can only mean good things.

    But I do think Finn Vs AJ will get a high score too. Maybe 3.5/5 or 4/5.

    To be honest, Kurt is 48 years old with injuries. I don't think he would be taking big bumps like Roman would take.

    Both matches can be 4.5 star match

      No but in terms of wrestling ability... And crowd reaction etc.. all make for a good match :) can't wait to see him get that ankle lock in again.

    Funny Asuka vs. Emma had 3/5. Asuka will beat No standing Emmma in 5 minutes or less
