Kambi Adds 'Jinder Mahal .vs. John Cena' To Mania 34 Market

The oddsmakers from Kambi have added 'Jinder Mahal .vs. John Cena' to a market where customers can have a bet on the match they believe will close out WrestleMania 34 next year.

As of the time of writing, the selection is an 11/4 second-favourite to 'Brock Lesnar .vs. Roman Reigns', which has been cut from 1/7 to 1/8 since the last time I wrote about it a week ago.

In the aforementioned post, I noted that 'Mahal .vs. Cena' was a conspicuous absence especially with the current WWE Champion - Jinder Mahal - saying that he would like to oppose John Cena on the grandest stage of them all.

WrestleMania 34 Main Event Betting

As you can see, the oddsmakers have also added 'AJ Styles .vs. John Cena' to its list. This has been installed at 4/1.

There have been a number of adjustments made along with the cutting of Brock Lesnar .vs. Roman Reigns from 1/7 into 1/8. Other selections that have been snipped are:

Any Undertaker Match from 6/1 to 4/1 - Likely a result of Undertaker's name being announced for the twenty-fifth anniversary of Monday Night Raw show that will take place in January.

Any Kurt Angle Match has been cut from 12s to 10/1 - It's safe to presume the oddsmakers have cut this option because Angle had taken part in the TLC 2017 main event and is wrestling for the Raw team at the Survivor Series in a little over two weeks.

Any Daniel Bryan Match from 25/1 to 15/1 - Possibly due to Bryan's angle with Kane from Monday night, but I think this is an over-reaction as I doubt WWE will have him wrestle.

Any Rock Match from 25/1 to 15/1 - Likely a reaction to Rock's name being reported as a possible ref for the Lesnar versus Mahal match at Survivor Series. An image going around of a possible Survivor Series poster fits John Cena in this role.

  1. Crazy, I actually predicted Styles vs Cena at Wrestlemania instead of Cena vs Mahal and it's 3rd in this list

    1. I wouldn't call it crazy.

If you scrub Lesnar/Reigns and Cena/Mahal, the next logical match that is main event worthy would be Styles/Cena.

    2. They wouldn't close with Styles .vs. Mahal for example.

    3. I mean logically, Styles vs Cena as 3rd option makes sense if Styles beats Mahal at clash of champions and Cena wins Rumble or Cena beats Mahal for WWE championship and Styles wins Royal Rumble
