New Mixed Match Challenge Markets Available From Kambi

One thing I put off from writing about last night was the fact that - in the midst of taking Elimination Chamber bets  - the Kambi oddsmakers released new markets for the Mixed Match Challenge.

When the Facebook tournament - which sees male and female WWE athletes team up - was first announced, Kambi put up specials where customers could have a punt on who certain wrestlers' teams-mates would end up being. They have now installed match and other specials markets for the tournament's quarter finals.

Match-Specific Markets
There are three match markets for the series of bouts that begin this week with Asuka and The Miz taking on Sasha Banks and Finn Balor tomorrow night.

Date/Time
Asuka/Miz
Banks/Balor
25/2 11:55pm
1/2
7/5
26/2 2:15pm
4/9
31/20

As you can see, the punters have already acted and backed Asuka and The Miz to win their meeting with Sasha Banks and Finn Balor.

Another market available for this match is a prop where clients can have a bet on the 'Gender of Decision'. This means customers can bet on the 'gender of the participants in the final match decision'. So, for example, if Asuka forces Sasha Banks to submit, the winning selection would be 'Female' at 6/5.

The 'Male' option is 3/5.

The second quarter final has Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss taking on Naomi and Jimmy Uso.

Date/Time
Bliss/Strowman
Naomi/Uso
25/2 11:55pm
1/5
3/1
26/2 2:15pm

The odds are still as they were last night with Bliss and Strowman 1/5 favourites. Their rivals are 3/1.

Despite the match result market remaining stationary, the bets have came in on the 'Gender of Decision'.

The 'Female' selection has been cut from 7/5 into even money since it was first installed.

The final available match market in the quarter round stage will see Bobby Roode and Charlotte Flair taking on the team of Lana and Rusev. The winners will head to the semi-finals to take on a team that has already been eliminated, but will be voted back in by fans.

Both the match and gender markets have stayed as they were last night.

Flair and Roode are 1/4 favourites to go over. A win for their opponents will pay out at odds of 5/2. As for the gender market - they have priced up 'Male' at 2/1 and 'Female' is 1/3.

Tournament Winners
The bookmakers have installed a market with a list of all of the teams. Customers can bet on which duo they believe will end up winning the entire tourney.

The favourites are Asuka and The Miz at 4/6. I am so glad to see them at the top of this list because I backed them at 6/1 with Betway (they're 7/2 over there if you want value).

Brand of Winner
There's a prop market where customers can place bets on the brand where the eventual winners come from.
As of the tine of writing, they have 'Raw' an 11/50 favourite to 'Smackdown' at 11/4.

Finalist Betting
To fully explain how these markets work, I've copied the bracket that is available on Wikipedia.

The sportsbook has priced up two separate markets. One where you can bet on the team that makes it to the top half of the final bracket and the other where you can bet on the bottom half.

The top half has four selections while the bottom has eight. The bottom one has the most selections due to the semi-final in week eleven having a fan vote where an eliminated team gets a second chance.

The market for the 'Top Half' has, unsurprisingly, Asuka and The Miz as 1/2 favourites. They are followed by Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman 5/4, Sasha Banks and Finn Balor 7/2 and Naomi and Jimmy Uso 10/1.

The 'Bottom Half' odds can be viewed in the image below:

When available, the markets are found under 'Facebook Watch' in the pro wrestling section of the sportsbooks' menus.
