AJ Styles' WWE Championship Successor Betting Update For February 10th

Kambi's oddsmakers have republished two betting markets where wrestling fans can have a punt on when the WWE Championship next changes hands.

These two markets were first installed in mid-November shortly after AJ Styles toppled Jinder Mahal to become WWE Champion. Since that time, and just like with the Universal Championship specials, a few selections have been removed due to time and WrestleMania direction making some now highly unlikely.

In the market where clients can have a punt on the timeframe when the title next changes hands, the option to back 'During WrestleMania 34' has been snipped from the EVS, you could have got on January 10th, into 1/5.

The 1/5 for the strap to change hands during WrestleMania is due to Styles versus Shinsuke Nakamura apparently being locked in for the event.

Styles still has to defend the title in at least a four-way match at WWE Fast Lane on March 11th. If anybody believes he'll be unsuccessful, the bookmaker is offering 2/1 on the 'Between Royal Rumble, But Before WrestleMania'. It was 4/6 on January 11th.

A successful reign, which lasts beyond WrestleMania, will pay out at 5/1. This selection has increased from 4/1, but was 6s when it was initially published.

The market where clients can have a punt on the person who next becomes WWE Champion now consists of four names - Shinsuke Nakamura, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and John Cena.

The 2018 Royal Rumble winner, Nakamura, has been cut from even money into 1/7 since his battle royal victory.

Another selection that has dropped is Sami Zayn. He has been halved from 8/1.

Kevin Owens has risen to 11/4 from evens and Cena has jumped from evens to 10/1.

The names that have been taken off the board are Randy Orton, Jinder Mahal and Bobby Roode.

On this coming Tuesday's episode of Smackdown, Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler will compete for a spot in the Fast Lane main event which already has Styles, Owens and Zayn. I fully expect Corbin, Ziggler or both to be added to this market in time for Fast Lane.
