Reigns Cut To 5/4 In Extreme Rules 2018 Market

Roman Reigns has moved to 5/4 from 7/4 in a market where Sky Bet customers can gamble on who they believe will win the number one contenders match at WWE Extreme Rules 2018.

The market, which was published hours after Kurt Angle announced it on Raw, saw Reigns and Bobby Lashley at the top as joint-favourites because - from Monday's TV - it appeared as though they were guaranteed spots in the multi-person match.

As a result of Reigns' price moving in, Lashley has become a 7/4 second-favourite.

One thing I think is worth mentioning to those looking to back Reigns to be given the win is to consider another market that's available on the Sky Bet website.

If you believe Reigns is winning at Extreme Rules and then going on to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam, then the 3/1 for Reigns to be the 'Universal Champion After Brock Lesnar' should also worth your consideration.

Sure, with Braun Strowman as as Mr. Money in the Bank there is a possibility of a cash-in.

However, Reigns has failed to get decisions over Lesnar at WrestleMania 31, WrestleMania 34 and the Greatest Royal Rumble. The story has focused on his most recent loss - in Saudi Arabia - and he would surely have to go over and - if he does win at Extreme Rules - succeeding Lesnar at 3/1 is worth looking at.

As noted, Strowman could cash-in, but I think it'll make more sense for him to do so after Reigns has finally slayed 'The Beast'.

It isn't only Reigns whose price has lowered in the Extreme Rules market.

Extreme Rules 2018 Multi-Person Winner Betting Odds

Seth Rollins, who was 5/2 when I first came across the market, is now at 2/1. Braun Strowman is now 12/1 from 14/1. Having Strowman win would seem a bit backward considering he's already holding the Money in the Bank briefcase and can instantly become a contender.
