This is worth noting because the match appears in a Kambi market where customers can place wagers on what they believe the opening match will be on the main broadcast.
The bout was backed by customers in the day or so the market has been available as it was snipped from 13/4 into 11/4.
The customers have also backed the match to receive over three stars in the Wrestling Observer Star Rating markets that I wrote about this afternoon.

As you can see, the punters backed 'Over 3 Stars' and forced the oddsmakers to trim its price from 17/20 into 3/4.
The only other star rating market that has been adjusted is for another Smackdown tag team match.

Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella .vs. The Miz and Maryse was given a line of 1.75 Stars. In the previous post, I mentioned that I felt - with Bryan and Miz in the bout - that the line of 1.75 was too low. Myself and others have evidently backed it as the price has now been snipped from EVENS into 4/5.
Punters should shop around to find some decent value on The New Day.
ReplyDeleteWWE hardly do title changes on pre-shows and Imo the reason why this is on the pre-show is because WWE has already spoiled the result by announcing the Show-Down match. I know card subject to change and all but WWE has made SSD a priority over HIAC and I don't see them changing any matches unless a competitor gets injured or suspended.
So you now decree that SSD is no longer a 'glorified house show' after weeks of me trying to tell you so!?!?
DeleteStill think it's a glorified house show. GRR 2.0 imo.
ReplyDeleteJust saying WWE has made it a priority over a B show PPV event in HIAC.
