A Look At Kambi's WrestleMania Title Match Markets

Kambi has republished a load of wrestling betting markets that were last seen at the end of last year. In this post, I'll take a look over the specials in which customers can place wagers on what they believe will be the title matches on the WrestleMania 35 card.

WWE Raw Women's Championship
With the report that the Raw Women's Championship match might be a triple threat with Ronda Rousey defending against Charlotte Flair and Becky Lunch, it should come as no surprise to see the odds for this selection cut in the market for the red brand's women's strap.

The selection was 6/4 when it was first installed. When it was placed back on-site yesterday, it had been moved to 4/6 favourite.

The other selection that has been cut is the one that will pay out as a winning bet if the match for the title will be contested by Rousey and Charlotte Flair. It has been moved to 5/4 from 2/1.

Previous favourite - 'Ronda Rousey .vs. Becky Lynch' - has now moved to 9/10 from 1/2 while a fatal four-way with Nia Jax added to Flair, Lynch and Rousey has risen from 5s into 12/1.

Asuka .vs. Becky Lynch .vs. Charlotte Flair .vs. Ronda Rousey is a new addition at 5/1. Two selections have been taken down. They are: Rousey .vs. Natalya (17/1) and Rousey .vs. Alexa Bliss (20/1).

WWE Smackdown Women's Championship
When I made note of the prices for the Smackdown Women's Championship market yesterday, I was not surprised to see the oddsmakers have snipped the price for the Lynch .vs. Flair .vs. Rousey triple threat match from 13/2 into 7/4.

The reason why is because friends of mine have thought of one idea for the Royal Rumble is to have the winner challenge both champions. For this scenario to play out, Becky Lynch would have to regain the Smackdown belt, Ronda keep her strap against Sasha Banks and then have Charlotte Flair win the Rumble.

I cannot see it happening, but it's definitely an idea that is out there. I would guess this is why the selection has lowered.

This is one of the markets I am having trouble calling. I am tied up thinking Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair will challenge Ronda Rousey for her title and cannot work out where they could go with Asuka if she is still in possession of the title by Mania.

At least two people I know have entertained the idea of another Asuka .vs. Ember Moon match. I wouldn't bet on it, but am interested to see what the price would be in this market. For it to happen, Moon might have to win the Royal Rumble and then challenge Asuka as they are both on opposing brands.

WWE Universal Championship
Brock Lesnar .vs. Seth Rollins to be the title match for the Universal strap was snipped from 6/4 into 5/4 in the first week.

Now, a little under a month later, it has returned with the selection down to 4/6.

Another two selections are showing shorter odds than the middle of last month. They are Brock Lesnar .vs. AJ Styles (3/1 to 9/4) and Brock Lesnar .vs. Finn Balor (10/1 into 6s). The latter would be a rematch from the Royal Rumble.

I guess there's still a chance of the Lesnar/Styles match (albeit slim), but I doubt the company will go to Lesnar/Balor with it happening at the Royal Rumble.

As I've been writing constantly for some time, I am sure the Universal Championship match will be Lesnar .vs. Rollins.

WWE Championship
The option to wager on Daniel Bryan .vs. John Cena to be the WWE Championship match on April 7th fell from 2/1 into 5/4 in its first week. It has stalled as a favourite and I think there's a good reason.

In last week's issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer wrote a story about Lars Sullivan and noted that there was a plan for Sullivan to meet John Cena at WrestleMania 35. The match is up in the air as of right now, but the take away from the article - in regards to Cena - is that he was not scheduled to meet Daniel Bryan.

Another thing that Meltzer has reported recently is that AJ Styles hasn't signed a new long-term deal with WWE yet. This might point to Styles also not being in the title plan for Mania as of right now.

So, with Cena  - and possibly Styles - being out of title matches (for now!), I am struggling to come up with somebody Daniel Bryan could meet, if he is still holding the strap by April 7th.  Bryan .vs. Nakamura was my pick before Bryan won the title and became a heel, but that seems unlikely now.

The punters have backed Styles versus Bryan to be the WWE Championship match as it has dipped to 2/1 from 5/2 after initially drifting out from 2s.

Another popular choice is for AJ Styles versus Randy Orton.  This selection has been halved from 8/1. Many fans have speculated that Styles will wrestle Orton at WrestleMania. For it to pay off in this market, the punters would obviously need it to be the WWE Championship match. Sky Bet is taking bets on Styles versus Orton to be ANY match at WrestleMania at a slightly lower 7/2. In my opinion, it's not worth backing the 4/1 on it being the WWE Championship match if you can get it at 7/2 just to be on the card. This is, of course, if you believe Styles .vs. Orton is planned for the event.

When available, these markets can be found under 'WWE/Pro Wrestling' on the websites that put up Kambi's WWE match and specials markets. An example can be found below.
