Looking Back At Kambi's Becky Lynch Props For MITB 2019

On May 11th, the oddsmakers from Kambi published a trio of special betting markets that focused on Becky Lynch's two women's championships matches that were set for Money in the Bank 2019.

The first prop that was available to punters was titled 'Becky 2 Belts'. The rule was to bet 'Yes' or 'No' on Lynch retaining both of her titles on last night's card.

I was confident that she would keep both her straps and backed up my assumption by stating that I felt WWE shouldn't have Lynch lose either of the titles on the first PPV in which she defended them. My opinion was strengthened when the WWE Network began to hype up a Becky Lynch edition of WWE 24 to air immediately following Money in the Bank.

As we all know now, my bet on 'Yes' - when it was 13/10 - turned out to be a loser as Lynch dropped the Smackdown Women's Championship to Charlotte Flair.

Looking at the wagering for the 'No', it does appear that there were people who felt there was going to be at least one title loss for Lynch.

Prop number two was titled 'Becky No Belts' it allowed customers to wager on the prospect of Lynch dropping both of her titles.

The winning selection was the favourite - 'No'. It started off at 2/7, but was down to 11/50 yesterday evening.

A third Becky Lynch special was called 'She Is The Man' and was offering between 7/2 and 5/2 on Lynch not only retaining her titles in the scheduled matches against Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair but also to still be in possession of the straps following a Money in the Bank contract cash-in. With Lynch falling at hurdle two, the bets will end up being settled as a loss to anyone who may have backed it.

You can see a screenshot showing how I noted the price changes from Saturday May 11th right up to last night.

Odds were correct right up to 11:25PM BST yesterday evening. The markets were closed by the start of the PPV.
