A Look Over Sky Bet's Markets For NXT TakeOver XXV

Even though I haven't written about them yet, there have been betting markets available for tonight's NXT TakeOver XXV show that will take place from WWE's home state of Connecticut.

Sky Bet was the first firm to release markets for the event. They were initially installed on the day of Money in the Bank. In this post, I'll bring you up to date on these markets and the ones that have been priced up since that day.

Matt Riddle .vs. Roderick Strong
The market for Riddle versus Strong was first published sometime before 1PM BST on Tuesday. By the following morning, Riddle's price to win had dipped to 3/10 from 1/3 while Strong's went up from 9/4 to 12/5. However, the market was back to where I first found it when I checked at midday on Friday.

NXT Tag Team Championship
Just like with Riddle .vs. Strong, the first time I came across a market for the Fatal 4-Way tag team match was on Tuesday afternoon. At the time, The Undisputed Era (Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly) selection was 2/1. It has been on the descent ever since and, as of this morning, was at 4/5.

You see, in the table below, that The Street Profits' price was snipped from 5/2 to 9/4 before 12PM BST yesterday. However, they've been pushed back up to 5/2 today.

Dream was 1/3 on Tuesday afternoon and was taken down to 2/7 later that day. His price was cut to 1/4 the following morning and was then moved to 2/9 on Thursday. He is still at this price as of 12PM BST today.

On the other side of the betting, Breeze - who was 9/4 on Tuesday afternoon - is now being offered at 3s.

NXT Women's Championship
Betting on the NXT Women's Championship match first began on May 19th. As you'll see below, the market kicked off with Shayna Baszler a 2/5 favourite to successfully retain her strap. The wagering has evidently sided with the challenger - Io Shirai - as she went from 7/4 and is now the favourite.

As of the time of writing, a win for Shirai will pay out at 4/6. The champ has drifted out to 11/10.

NXT Championship
The market for what will likely be the main event of the evening was first made available on May 19th with the NXT Champion - Johnny Gargano - a 1/2 favourite to get the decision against Adam Cole (6/4).
The market remained stationary until May 23rd when Cole's odds were snipped to 5/4. Then, a week after that, I noticed Cole was down to EVS. He was then taken down to 10/11 yesterday.
