The bookmakers from BetOnline have created a handful of proposition markets all about Dwayne Johnson and his return to Smackdown.
For starters, there is a prop asking customers whether they believe The Rock will 'Give Someone a Rock Bottom'. As of the time of writing, they have the 'Yes' at +120 while no Rock Bottom is favoured at -160.
Surprisingly, they have 'Yes' as a -200 favourite for Johnson to deliver a People's Elbow and have the 'No' a +150 outsider.
With the Rock Bottom one way to get the recipient of a People's Elbow in the right position, I don't see the logic behind the Rock Bottom not being favoured along with a People's Elbow.
Another one that is puzzling is the prop which asks 'Will The Rock Say 'Jabroni'?' This has the 'Yes' as a +225 underdog to the 'No' at -350.
That's another I would back the outsider without hesitation.
Finally, there's a prop in which gamblers can place bets on The Rock announcing a future match or not during his appearance. Those who believe he will can get the 'Yes' at +200 while those who believe he won't can find the 'No' favoured at -300.
There are also match markets available for the bouts that have been advertised for the show. They are:
Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair -110
Sasha Banks and Bayley -130
Kevin Owens -300
Shane McMahon +200
Roman Reigns -200
Erick Rowan +150
Kofi Kingston +170
Brock Lesnar -250
BetOnline's 'Wrestling' markets can be found under 'Game Props' on the BetOnline Sports Menu.
I'm assuming he's possibly costing Lesnar the title to set up Rock vs Brock down the line somewhere?
ReplyDeleteThat would be a pretty big match if Rock can commit.
I can't see it.
DeleteThe only two scenarios I see are:
1) He does a promo and leaves
2) He does a promo, someone interrupts him , he talks smack to them, does a Rock Bottom and then leaves
If Brock isn't winning and someone is costing him, I think the best one to go with is Cain Velasquez just because it'll be a sports center moment and would kind of make sense if they're angling it like he's avenging the Mysterios considering they're both Mexican Americans from California etc.
Seems far too much of a coincidence that the Velasquez stories came up and then, of all the people Lesnar attacked on Monday, it was the Mexican-Americans.
