Karrion Kross' Fatal 5-Way Odds Continue To Slide Plus More

Karrion Kross' odds to retain the NXT Championship, in a fatal 5-way match at tonight's NXT TakeOver: In Your House 2021, have continued to descend in a match market that is available from Sky Bet.

When I wrote about the sportsbook's market for the match in yesterday's post, I noted how the titleholder had started out at 2/1 when I first began to follow betting earlier this week. At the time of writing, Kross had dropped into 10/11.

By yesterday evening, Kross was down into 8/11 and is now at a much shorter 2/5.

It has been one-way traffic for Kross in regards to this match. As you'll be able to see - in the table above - all of the other participants have drifted out with no sign of any price dips in favour of the four other wrestlers.

The NXT Championship market isn't the only market to change since yesterday's post.

NXT Women's Champion - Raquel Gonzalez - is now down into 1/12 to successfully retain her strap against Ember Moon.

The champ had been 1/10 since the market opened. Her challenger has moved up from 11/2 to 6/1.

The market for the ladder match between LA Knight and Cameron Grimes has seen Grimes' price move in from 4/5 to 4/6 with Knight up from 10/11 to 11/10.

In yesterday's post, I noted that the Million Dollar Championship - which will be awarded to the winner of the match - would, on paper, fit LA Knight's character. However, I have gambled on the other selection because Grimes as the Million Dollar Champion would allow for even more interaction between he and Ted Dibiase with a student-teacher comedy dynamic.

Another market that has changed since yesterday is the one for the winners take all match which will see Bronson Reed and MSK respectively defend their NXT North American and NXT Tag Team Titles in a six-man tag against Legado del Fantasma.

I mentioned that I backed the underdogs when they were at 11/2. I had another gamble on them at 5/1 yesterday afternoon and they are now at a shorter 9/2.

As a result, Bronson Reed and MSK have moved up from 1/9 to 1/8.

The only other match scheduled for tonight is the singles contest between Xia Li and Mercedes Martinez.

The market is still showing Li as a 1/10 favourite over the 11/2 for Martinez.
