Del Rio Now A Favourite In Battleground Betting

It didn't take long for Alberto Del Rio to be bet into a favourite at 5Dimes.com.

When the lines were first posted on Wednesday, the World heavyweight champion was a +150 underdog.


Odds in European format
As soon as I saw the odds, I had a feeling things would even out and end up with Rob Van Dam as the match underdog.

Del Rio is now available at -160 (1.63 EU, 5/8 UK). His Battleground opponent is +120 (2.20 EU, 6/5 UK).

At Night of Champions, it was the Alberto Del Rio .vs. Rob Van Dam match-up that ended up with a shocking result from a betting perspective.

Del Rio was the odds-on favourite going in to the match. His loss via disqualification benefited bettors who had backed a Rob Van Dam win.
