Small Wagers Landing On John Cena In Royal Rumble Title Match Betting At 5Dimes

John Cena's odds for his WWE World Heavyweight Championship challenge against Randy Orton have been dropping slightly over the past day at the 5Dimes Sportsbook.

This time yesterday, he was available at +500 but is now priced at +325 (4.25 EU, 13/4 UK). As a result, Randy Orton has gone from -900 to -475 (1.21 EU, 4/19 UK).

There isn't much to read into this only that there are people backing Cena at the moment. Major money hasn't landed on either side as of yet.

Another notable odds movement centres on the bout between The Big Show and Brock Lesnar.

The Big Show has been an underdog since the book opened. His original price was +650 but had risen to +1500 on a check I made this morning. As of right now, his odds have doubled to +3000 (31.00 EU, 30/1 UK).

This shift means Lesnar's odds have shortened from -1,350 all the way to -11,000 (1/110 UK).

Batista remains a favourite to win the Royal Rumble. His price is back to -140 (1.71 EU, 5/7 UK) after hovering at -135 earlier today. The opposing 'Field against Batista' is a slight underdog at even odds (+!00 US, 2.00 EU).

I will return tomorrow morning with a check on any overnight changes.

Prices are correct at time of publishing, check out the latest odds at 5Dimes.eu

  1. Hi Dave. It looks like Batista is going to get the rumble win because they don't believe that Daniel Bryan can draw money in the main event at WM30. CM Punk will be the workhorse- or dogsbody, maybe- in the rumble; he is a good choice to get the most eliminations @ 7/4 at PP. Im picking Cena to get a DQ win, and Bryan to go over Wyatt. The New Age Outlaws will get the win in the pre-show to build excitement for the PPV. Lesnar will make light work of Big Show. My star pick is for Cena to get the win- but not necessarily the title- over Orton @ 9/2 at William Hill. Surely, they wont let Cena lose cleanly to Orton twice in a row!!...All my predictions come with disclaimers in case they fail:-) P.F.

    1. Some good points made there. I especially like the one about John Cena winning the match but not the title. That makes sense.

  2. I find it hard to believe that Cena will get pinned cleanly in a match with no stipulations against Orton. But, hey- I was wrong about Cena at TLC!!! But all the same, 13/2 @ Youwin offers the punter fantastic odds!! Cena can be Included in multiples, elsewhere! P.F.

  3. Cena is not going to win this match orton is 1/20 to win that says it all especially the way these odds have worked in the last 7-8 ppv's
