Huge Odds Changes In Elimination Chamber 2014 Betting

Friday night was once again the night for betting when it comes to WWE pay-per-view betting markets at 5Dimes.eu.

I have noticed the prices tend to make huge shifts overnight for the past number of pay-per-views and last night wasn't an exception. Despite there being no change in one match and a slight movement in another, the rest of the card saw the favourites heavily backed.

The match where the prices stayed stationary was for Batista .vs. Alberto Del Rio.

When I made a final check yesterday night at 11pm GMT, 'The Animal' was priced at -6000 (1/60 UK) which was an increase from the -4500 he had been earlier that morning. As of this morning, he remains settled at -6000 with Del Rio at +2000 (21.00 EU, 20/1).

The match which saw a slight change was in the Tag Team Championship.

The New Age Outlaws were -300 to defeat The Usos last night. The overnight action has moved the Outlaws out to -350 (1.29 EU, 2/7 UK). The challengers can be backed at +250 (3.50 EU, 5/2 UK).

The Wyatt Family's price moved by 2500 points in this betting period. They are now available at -4500 (1/45 UK) with The Shield drifting out to +1500 (16.00 EU, 15/1 UK).

Darren Young's chances of winning against his former tag team partner, Titus O'Neil, looked even more unlikely after his price went from +280 all the way to +1300 (14.00 EU, 13/1 UK) in this round. O'Neil is favoured at -3000 (1/30 UK).

If these odds are anything to go by, Big E will successfully defend his Intercontinental Championship against Jack Swagger. E has gone from -380 to -3000 (1/30 UK) with Swagger now at +1300 (14.00 EU, 13/1 UK) to unseat the champion.

Randy Orton's line has moved 3750 points since yesterday night.

The current WWE World Heavyweight Champion has been backed from -750 in to -4500 (1/45 UK) to win the Elimination Chamber main event. Punters looking to back any of the remaining participants in Sunday's cage match can wager  'The Field' at +1500 (16.00 EU, 15/1 UK).

Ironically, the biggest shift in betting has taken place on a match that will not take place on the pay-per-view itself.

The Rhodes Brothers have seen their price move by a huge 4320 points. They were available at -180 yesterday night but, as of this morning, they are set at -4500 (1/45 UK).

Anyone thinking Curtis Axel has a chance of getting a win in his home city during the pre-show fixture can get he and Ryback at +1500 (16.00 EU, 15/1 UK).

I will return in a short while with a post looking at the proposition bets for Sunday's show.

These prices are correct at time of publishing. For the latest, check the betting board at 5Dimes.eu
