TNA Sacrifice 2014 Betting Results

The lines makers at The 5Dimes Sportsbook more or less had the TNA Sacrifice 2014 favourites marked up correctly from the start. The firm only had to pay out on one underdog victor.

The first match on the card that was available to bet on was the Commited Match between Samuel Shaw and Ken Anderson.

Anderson won the match. He was a -160 favourite when the TNA Sacrifice betting markets were opened in the middle of last week. His closing odds were -280 (5/14 UK).

Match three on the actual card, but fixture two on the betting board, was the tag team match which saw Willow & Kurt Angle defeat Ethan Carter III & Rockstar Spud.

The babyface duo opened at -600. However, by the start of the pay-per-view, their odds were priced at -230 (1.43 EU, 10/23 UK) indicating that the late bettors had been wagering on ECIII & Spud. Despite the money evidently landing on the losers in the latter stages of the betting period, Angle & Willow remained faves.

The X Division title match followed.

Sanada's odds went from -160 to -750 (2/15 UK) in the round of betting. He won the match, as would all the gamblers that had punted on Sanada from the start.

The 'I Quit' match between James Storm and Gunner was an interesting one as both wrestlers opened up at odds of -120 when the book was first opened.

Once the bets started coming in, Gunner became an overwhelming favourite. When the book closed at 1am BST this morning, he was available at odds of -900 (1/9 UK). He went on to win the match after forcing Storm to quit in order to avoid being stabbed by a shard of glass.

Angelina Love won the Knockouts Title in the following match.

The challenger had opened up as a -420 favourite but saw her line change a number of times in the time the market was open. At the end of the betting period, Love's odds had gone to -350 (1.29 EU, 2/7 UK) so the late money had been landing on Madison Rayne to win and retain. Despite Rayne's odds moving from +300 to the closing +250 (3.50 EU, 5/2 UK), Love remained a favourite throughout.

Bobby Roode's Tables Match win against Bully Ray, following interference from Dixie Carter, was the only victory that was secured by an underdog.

Roode had opened at +600. However, at the close of the TNA Sacrifice betting markets, his price had fallen to +300 (4.00 EU, 3/1 UK). So, despite being an underdog throughout, he was favoured in the late stages of betting.

Eric Young winning the main event was given odds of -1200 by the oddsmakers when the lines were posted. When the market closed, he was available at -750 (2/15 UK). So, the late money was landing on Magnus even though the wagers weren't enough to move the challenger into the role of favourite.

TNA Sacrifice 2014 betting was available at 5Dimes.eu.
