Evolution have now become slight favourites in wagering for this Sunday night's WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view at the 5Dimes Casino & Sportsbook.
The team made up of Batista, Triple H and Randy Orton were originally cast as +155 underdogs in the betting and had seen their odds dropping throughout the day.
At 5pm BST, they were marked up at +135. They then went down to +110 at around 7pm BST and now, as this post is published, they have dropped into the minus figures at -140.
In the same period - their opponents, The Shield, went from -195 to short-priced underdogs at +100 (2.00 EU, EVENS UK).
Prices correct at time of publishing. For the latest, check out the betting board at 5Dimes.eu.
What do you think David? Evolution or Shield? Surely, Evolution are runaway winners!! Bootista, Orton and HHH all lost at WM30. Surely, they need their egos stroked!! First match back- they need to make an impression. Flair will turn on the Shield- do you think? I think ill put a few quid on Evolution, now, before their odds widen to 1/10 on Sunday night.
ReplyDeleteIt would not surprise me at all to see Flair cost The Shield a win on Sunday.
DeleteThe bettors seem to be divided on this one.
..so far.
DeleteCorrection- before their odds shorten to 1/10
ReplyDeleteI believe that the odds are roughly the same because punters are under the impression that Batista is leaving for a while- and that provides an uncertain scenario. Even if he is leaving, it shouldn't make any difference to this match. If he does leave in the near future, the Shield could deliver a beatdown to him on the way out. That would make them look very good- perhaps, to avenge a loss at this PPV. I'm putting 100 on Evolution cause I believe that their odds will shorten vastly by Sunday night. If I lose- then, so be it!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI had evolution winning as well would make sense since on raw and smackdown they been on top of evolution....also to keep the fued going!
