When I made a check in to see the odds on the betting board earlier this morning, the challenger for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship was an underdog with a line of +3000. In the eight hours since that time, his price has dropped down to +500 (6.00 EU, 5/1 UK).
Daniel Bryan remains a favourite to win tomorrow night's match but his odds have moved from the -11000 they were since around 10pm BST last night to -900 (1/9 UK).
In a follow up to this morning's post where I looked at the betting patterns in the Divas Championship match, it appears as though Paige has started to be backed again.
Her price has moved from the -350 it was this morning and is now at -1700 (1/17 UK). As a result, Tamina Snuka - who was +250 earlier - is now priced at +800 (9.00 EU, 8/1 UK).
Other Saturday changes:
- Wade Barrett has been backed from -430 in to -500
- Evolution from -230 to -380
- Cesaro -600 to -750
- John Cena has moved from +460 to +350
Odds taken from the betting board at 5Dimes.eu.
David do you reckon these huge changes are due to people taking a long shot due to the odds given e.g +4000 Tamina and +4500 Kane or is it more calculated??? I reckon its due to the fact the odds seem good for both matches as a long shot!!
ReplyDeleteI'm going with what you initially thought and that it's gamblers taking the odds. Just my opinion, obviously.
DeleteI guess we'll find out more tomorrow.
