UFC Fight Night 65 : Where The Best Odds Are

The Ultimate Fighting Championships heads over to Australia for Fight Night 65 from Adelaide this weekend. In this post, I'll look through the matches on the main card and direct you to the sportsbooks offering the better odds for each fighter.

As per usual, I'll offer odds that US/Canadian visitors can get as well as those available to most other readers.

If you're going to place any bets on the event, don't forget you can take advantage of the free bet / new customer offers in the links below.

Jake Matthews .vs. James Vick

Aussie fighter - Jake Matthews - will fight James Vick in a lightweight battle. Both are undefeated with Matthews holding an 8-0 professional record (2-0 UFC) while his opponent is 7-0 (3-0 UFC).

I am leaning on the home favourite here.

Jake Matthews best prices:
7/4 Bet365
- 175 5Dimes

James Vick's better odds:
6/4 Bet365
+155 5Dimes

Anthony Perosh .vs. Sean O'Connell

This light heavyweight fight will involve another Australian-born fighter in Anthony Perosh. He's 15-8 in his career while the American, O'Connell is 16-6.

Perosh is the favourite at all the sportsbooks. Against better judgement, I have a feeling he will lose, so am making a small punt on O'Connell.

Best price for Perosh:
4/6 888Sport
-145 5Dimes

Sean O'Connell's odds:
6/4 BoyleSports
+125 at both 5Dimes and Bovada/Bodog

Brad Tavares .vs. Robert Whittaker

Robert Whittaker is the home dog in this fight. He's 13-4 while Tavares is 13-3 with eight of those wins being in the UFC.

I'm not going to bet on this fight. If I was forced to make a pick, I'd go with Tavares.

Tavares' better prices:
4/6 with Paddy Power
-150 at 5Dimes

Whittaker's best odds:
6/4 BetVictor
+130 at both 5Dimes and Bovada/Bodog

Stipe Miocic .vs. Mark Hunt

This is the main event of the night and is a five rounder.

Miocic is 12-2 while the Kiwi-born Hunt is 10-9-1. I think the younger man (Miocic) will win this. The oddsmakers evidently think so, too.

Miocic's prices:
8/15 BoyleSports
-240 at both 5Dimes and Bovada/Bodog

Hunt's odds:
41/20 888Sport
+200 5Dimes

My Bets

Jake Matthews 7/4 Bet365
Sean O'Connell 6/4 BoyleSports
