Earlier this week, I noted that Betfair had published betting odds for three of the matches scheduled to take place at this weekend's WWE Money in the Bank 2015 pay-per-view. The traders have now added more match markets to its coverage. They have also drawn up more of their famous WWE prop bets.
When I first noted the sportsbook had MITB odds up, the Kevin Owens versus John Cena market was online but there weren't any prices affixed to either selection. I had another look at another point and the firm had Cena as a 4/6 favourite with Owens 11/10.
The prices are the same as of this morning.
The second match on the board was for the WWE Tag Team Championship.
The New Day were originally priced at 1/10, but are now slightly more appealing at 1/6. As a result of the change, The Prime Time Players have moved from 5/1 to 10/3.
Bout three was the Money in the Bank ladder match which had Roman Reigns chalked up as a 1/2 favourite. His price is now 2/5.
The other selections' are: Randy Orton 4/1, Neville 5/2, Sheamus 6/1, Dolph Ziggler 14/1, Kane 13/2 and Kofi Kingston 10/1.
With them out of the way, it's now time to look at the latest additions.
The traders have given King Barrett a 8/15 chance of winning the pre-show match against R-Truth. Customers looking for a Truth victory can back him at 11/8.
Ryback is also 8/15 to win against The Big Show (11/8).
Nikki Bella is a 8/11 fave to retain her WWE Divas Championship with a W. A bet on Paige will double your money.
Seth Rollins is 1/3 to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in his ladder match against Dean Ambrose. A Rollins defeat will pay out at 2/1.
As mentioned above, the company has also priced up prop bets for some added excitement during the event.
The first special is specific to the WWE Title match. Customers can bet:
Will There Be Cinder Blocks Used?
If you believe there will, you can get 3/1 on the 'Yes'.
There are two propositions for the Money in the Bank ladder match. The first asks:
How Many Times Will An RKO Be Performed?
The line has been set at 3.5 with the 'Over' currently available at 20/21 and 'Under' 8/11.
The next one is another over/under but will require some counting.
How Many Times Will A Superstar Fall From A Ladder?
The traders have set the line at 18.5 with both 'Over' and 'Under' 5/6 as of the time of publishing.
The final special on the board is specific to all the title matches on the card. It questions:
All 4 Titles To Be Retained?
If you believe that the Divas, Tag Team, Intercontinental and World Championships will all stay with their respective titleholders, Betfair will pay out at odds of 5/2.
I will be placing bets on some of these specials and will share my choices later on today.
In the meantime, you can view the odds for yourself under 'USA' on the 'Special Bets' page at Betfair.com.
Seems like they're no longer available, are they? The link takes to some Love Island betting page.
ReplyDeleteHi PW,
DeleteThey're there. As noted in the post, you have to select the 'USA' tab.
Betfair has now changed the tab to 'USA/WWE MITB'.
