Paddy Power's MITB 2015 Prop Bets

The Paddy Power Sportsbook published two special Money in the Bank 2015 prop bets earlier this week. In this post, I'm going to compare the early odds to the current ones to see where the sportsbook's customers have placed their stakes.

The two side bets were specific to the Money in the Bank contract. The first option gave clients to bet 'Yes' or 'No' on the winner cashing in their title shot on the show.

The early price was 7/1 on 'Yes' and 1/25 on it not happening. The bets evidently went the way of the optimistic punter believing there will be a storyline twist taking place on tonight's show.

The price for 'Yes' has now fallen to 4/1. If you are confident the cash-in will not occur this evening, the bookie is now offering a more attractive 1/7.

Well, it's more attractive than 1/25!

The second bet on the board relies on numerous twists.

Roman Reigns To Beat Dean Ambrose For The WWE Title

So, you first need Reigns to win the Money in the Bank contract, you then need Dean Ambrose to snare the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Seth Rollins in the ladder match and finally, for the bet to come in, Roman Reigns has to successfully cash in his title shot.

When the market first went up, the odds were 20/1. With all the things needed to happen to pay out, it seemed like a decent price. The customers thought so, too. The odds plummeted fast and were at 9/1 within minutes of me noticing they were available. Even I missed out on the 20/1 odds. I was too busy writing about it to consider they would drop so steeply in a short space of time.

They now rest at 13/2 - a price they have remained since Friday.

I'm intrigued to see how tonight plays out. If the Money in the Bank contract winner does cash-in, so will some bets.

These specials can be found alongside the regular Money in the Bank contract match odds on Paddy Power's WWE Betting Page.
