The next regular WWE pay-per-view will be Battleground which will take place on Sunday July 19th. In this post, I'll list a number of bookmakers where you'll likely find betting odds for this event.
What I usually do in posts like this is note the companies that published betting markets for the most recent WWE PPV. In this case, I'm going to refer to the bookies that offered betting on the Money in the Bank show.
It's worth noting that there is a WWE Network special taking place on Saturday July 4th. As of the time of publishing, I am unsure whether there will be odds available for this event. Keep checking back!
Bwin Sportsbook
The bwin Sportsbook was the first to offer WWE Money in the Bank betting odds. Its lines were put up months ahead of any company. However, the firm did tend to put them up and down on a frequent basis.
The firm did publish odds for some of the other matches on the MITB card. These markets were opened on Sunday June 7th. However, they were unavailable on the day of the show.
If the company does put anything up for Battleground, my suggestion is to bet as soon as you see a price you like as the market could be taken down at any time.
The WWE markets are found under 'Entertainment' on the bwin website.
23/6/15 update: Odds are now out. Read about their release.
Paddy Power
The Irish bookmaker - Paddy Power - published match markets for Money in the Bank as early as ten days before the event. The firm had chalked up prices for the four matches that were already announced for the show and added the additional markets on the week of the show.
If the traders stick to their schedule, you could find odds for Battleground available the weekend before the event. This is an estimate rather than a guarantee.
When up, you'll be able to view the Battleground lines on Paddy Power's WWE Betting Page.
July 15th Update: Paddy Power's odds have now been published.
Sportsbet Australia
Sportsbet is a company owned by Paddy Power but operates Down Under. It allows people living in Australia and other jurisdictions to place wagers on WWE events.
As Paddy Power and Sportsbet are related, the odds for Money in the Bank went up at the same time. The prices were also identical to start with.
If you're Australian and looking to bet on WWE, this is one of your only options.
When up, Sportsbet's WWE Battleground 2015 lines can be found on Sportsbet Australia's WWE Page.
Betfair Sportsbook
The Betfair Sportsbook has been producing WWE betting lines for well over a year now and is another likely destination for customers looking to bet real money on WWE events.
One of the most appealing aspects when it comes to Betfair's WWE markets is the fact the traders put up side bets for customers to wager on. So, not only can you bet on wrestling matches, you can also bet on things happening WITHIN the match. For example, for Money in the Bank, customers could bet on the amount of times a superstar fell of a ladder in the MITB contract match.
As mentioned above, Betfair did publish betting odds for Money in the Bank. These odds first went up on the Tuesday before the event. More match markets were added the following evening. The company also allowed its customers to bet on each match in-play meaning they could bet as each match was in progress.
When available, you'll be able to find WWE markets in the 'Special Bets' section of Betfair.com
25th June Update: Betfair's odds are now up. Read the release.
Sky Bet
Sky Bet is another online sports betting company that has been putting up WWE PPV betting lines for years.
The sportsbook might appeal to those that like to bet on WWE right up to the start of the respective bouts as Sky Bet traders keep their odds open right to the opening bell for each match.
The company's WWE MITB match markets first went live on Wednesday morning before the show.
When available, you'll be able to view the odds live on Sky Bet's Wrestling Betting Page.
15th July Update: Sky Bet's Battleground odds released
5Dimes
5Dimes is the go-to place for WWE betting. This is especially true if you live in countries like USA where it's hard to find a sportsbook that is willing to take your custom,
The 5Dimes Sportsbook accepts customers from A LOT of countries, including the USA so this really is the only company where Americans can bet on WWE events every month.
5Dimes' currently appears to publish its WWE pay-per-view lines late on a Wednesday/early Thursday before the events.
When available, the WWE Battleground odds will be found under 'Other Sports' on the betting board at 5Dimes.com.
24/6/15 Update: 5Dimes' prices have now been released. Read about it.
William Hill
William Hill is one of the biggest sports betting brands in the world and has been publishing betting lines for World Wrestling Entertainment matches for years.
Its WWE Money in the Bank markets first went up on the Thursday heading in to the show.
Please note, that William Hill's traders take down the WWE markets overnight so - if you don't see them when you look - I suggest making regular checks.
You'll find them under 'TV/Specials' on the sportsbook's A-Z menu at WilliamHill.com.
Sportingbet
Sportingbet.com has been publishing WWE betting markets for some of the major shows on the wrestling conpany's calendar.
The firm priced up odds for two of the matches that took place on the Money in the Bank PPV.
I don't know for sure if Sportingbet will have markets up for Battleground. If the firm decides to offer anything, you'll find them under 'Specials' at Sportingbet.com.
Another way of checking for WWE Battleground odds is to check the Live WWE Odds Page at BetOnWrestling.co.uk.
I hope this is of some help to you. Best of luck!
