The Betfair Sportsbook's WWE Battleground 2015 betting markets have seen some changes in the past day, so - in this post - I'm going to run through each market and give the up to date odds and compare them to what they were when they were first published over a fortnight ago.
The WWE Tag Team Championship market now has the champions - The Prime Time Players - as 8/15 favourites to retain their straps. The duo were first installed as 2/5 shots, so the evidence points to the challengers as being the early bettors' choice.
The New Day are now available as 11/8 outsiders - they had opened 7/4.
The triple threat match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship opened with Ryback at 4/9 to keep his strap. The odds have now improved for the bettor as he is now 4/7.
The Big Show's odds have drifted slightly moving out from 11/4 to 3/1. This leaves The Miz as the one to watch as his odds have decreased from 5/1 to 11/4. Fans - including yours truly - must be sensing Miz will get a cheap win somehow.
Bray Wyatt is now 6/4 to be successful over Roman Reigns. He had opened at 21/20.
Reigns is now 1/2. This is shorter than the 4/6 he opened at on June 25th.
The market for the US Championship has been back-and-forth for most of the betting period. It originally opened with John Cena 3/4 and Kevin Owens 20/21. There were periods when Owens was favoured over the current champ but things have now started going the way of Cena as he has gone from EVENS to 10/11 in the past day.
Owens has improved from 7/10 to 4/5 in the same period.
The main event market is also looking completely different to how it opened over a fortnight ago.
Back then, WWE World Heavyweight Champion - Seth Rollins - was 6/5 to keep his belt. His challenger was 10/17.
As of the time of publishing, the pair are neck-and-neck in the betting. Both are priced 20/23.
Now that we've entered Battleground week, it'll be interesting to see how things develop as we head closer to Sunday.
Betfair's WWE Battleground markets are found under 'USA' in the 'Other Sports' category of the Betfair Sportsbook menu.
