WWE Battleground 2015 Odds After The July 13th Raw

In the most recent post, I went through the WWE Battleground odds that were available last night at both the 5Dimes and Betfair Sportsbooks. The intention was to see whether anything that happened on last night's Raw prompted odds to fluctuate.

There have only been two changes so far. Both of these have taken place in the markets available at 5Dimes.com.

Firstly, the WWE Intercontinental Championship market has seen action in favour of Ryback as his price has shortened from -400 to -600. As a result of this change, 'The Field .vs. Ryback' - meaning either Big Show or The Miz - is +400. This is an increase from the +280 they were last night.

Ryback & Randy Orton were winners in a tag team match against Sheamus & The Big Show. I suppose fans seeing Ryback getting the winning pinfall on Sheamus prompted them to think he would be be in a similar position on Sunday.

I'm still suspecting The Miz will be booked to fluke his way to victory in the triple threat, but I have been wrong before!

The most interesting shift took place in the market for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Seth Rollins, who was a -165 favourite yesterday evening, is now an underdog with a line of +160. His opponent, Brock Lesnar, has shortened from +125 to -210.

It's obvious what has happened here. The events on the close of Raw ended with Brock Lesnar eliminating Sunday's potential threat of J&J Security and Kane leaving Seth Rollins to fend for himself in the championship match. Fans have evidently bought into this and have placed their stakes on Lesnar's apparent advantage.

It'll be interesting to see if this story plays out the way its being teased to the audience.

As it's now Battleground week, expect more posts as we head closer to Sunday's event.

The above odds were correct as of 10:15am BST. For the latest, check out the betting board at 5Dimes.com. New customers can take advantage of the latest deposit bonus advertised in the banner below:
