5Dimes' Rumble 2016 Odds For Saturday January 9th

It has been nearly a day since I last visited the 5Dimes Sportsbook's Royal Rumble 2016 markets and noticed that customers can now bet on Triple H and Roman Reigns to win the battle royal in a little over two weeks.

Here are the odds that were available a short while ago:

Roman Reigns' odds - and that of 'The Field' versus Reigns - have remained as they were yesterday.

The Triple H market has gone the way of 'The Field versus HHH' as the price has moved from -290 to the -335 it is now, Triple H to win has drifted out from +210.

'The Field .vs. Brock Lesnar' has also seen action as the odds have moved from -265 to -305. If you bet on Lesnar today, you're getting better value than you would have done yesterday as he had been +185.

Nothing much to see here. The late Friday to Saturday customers evidently don't know what to do with the Roman Reigns market and aren't favouring Triple H or Brock Lesnar to win the match.

Not yet, anyway.

  1. I backed Lesnar early @ 5 odds with 5Dimes. The way I figured it he was always going to do the honors for Reigns @ WM, and therefore would be booked to go over in the Rumble. I do wonder what Lesnar could possibly do at Fast Lane if he does win the Rumble - any ideas David?

    1. I don't think it'll be Lesnar winning the Rumble.

What I think they'll do is have some sort of a match to determine the number one contender and Brock will be in that.

      That's just me guessing.

  2. I'm still favouring a Roman win with Lesnar entering himself as number 1 and being eliminated by the wyatt family later on to start a feud with them. I think either hhh will be number 30 and win it as a "surprise" or roman will win it and hhh won't be in the rumble but will come out after the match to attack him and set up a feud for fast lane

    1. I have a feeling it'll be Roman Reigns who enters in first place. Wouldn't be surprised if that's one of the things they do on Raw tomorrow or next Monday.

    2. Too predictable on my opinion. Lesnar may want to be number 1 so he can "conquer the royal rumble"

    3. The Authority is trying to stack the decks against Reigns. Him being forced to go in at number one may seem predictable, but it's the sort of thing they'd do for heat. Plus, it'll make sense if he ends up losing right at the end.

    4. Which makes me think Reigns winning is the more "surprise" ending

  3. Road Dogg tweeted 18 hours ago about doing a workout - "#RoyalRumble". I think it's a good possibility that he's in the Rumble as one of Triple H's henchmen... would love for you to go over Betfair's prop market again.

.. and if X-Pac comes in as #30 then I'm personally going to buy you a plane ticket for this year's 'Mania, David :)

    1. He's going to be there because he's an agent, so it's still a gamble.

And if X-Pac is number 30, it'll be me ordering plane tickets haha.
