Betfair Installs WrestleMania 32 Battle Royal Odds

Betfair.com has opened a book where customers can wager on the winner of the Third Annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal that is currently scheduled to take place on the WrestleMania 32 pre-show in a week from today.

The firm has installed Braun Strowman as the favourite. He's 10/11, And rightfully so - it has been reported that the company may book Strowman to win this match in order to build him up for future feuds with Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.

Next on the list is Bray Wyatt, who's 4/1. Following him are Kane and Mark Henry. Both are 5/1.

Then there is a name that has piqued my interest - Randy Orton at 13/2.

Orton is rumoured to be on his way back to WWE imminently. Even though Strowman is the guy set up for the win, my instinct is to back The Viper on the off-chance that the decision is made to bring him back as a surprise entrant in the battle royal.

With this year's fixture now scheduled for the pre-show, I would not be at all surprised to see a babyface being selected to win the Andre the Giant Memorial Trophy as a way to draw in late Network or PPV patrons.

I'm still convinced that it'll be Strowman, but I think Orton is worth a look as a dark horse.

Odds correct as of 12:29am GMT. Betfair's WrestleMania 32 markets can be found under 'Special Bets' on the A-Z menu at Betfair.com.
