Dean Ambrose's Mania Odds Drop & More

The most noticeable difference in WrestleMania 32 betting odds coming out of last night's WWE Raw has been in the market for the Hell in a Cell match.

At 11pm GMT yesterday night, the 5Dimes Sportsbook was showing Brock Lesnar as a -400 favourite to Dean Ambrose's +280.

The money since that time has evidently gone the way of The Lunatic Fringe as his odds have been cut to +150. This is the second lowest I have seen him since the market was first opened (he was +130 on February 28th).

This obviously means that the -190 on Brock Lesnar is the second-best price he has been available at in the same period. The first number I have from the end of February is -170.

It wasn't just Dean Ambrose who has seen action overnight - Sasha Banks and The Undertaker have also seen their odds shorten.

Banks' price has moved from -210 to -255 and The Undertaker is now -260 from -145.

There was no change in Charlotte (+170)  and Becky Lynch's (+650) prices, but Shane McMahon moved out from +105 to +180.

Vince McMahon announced on Raw that - should The Undertaker lose on April 3rd - it will be the last time he graces the squared circle at a WrestleMania. This must have caused the 5Dimes customers to back Taker figuring that there is no way the company would go all-in with a stip like that and have him lose.

Ironically, it made yours truly even more confident that Shane McMahon will leave the night with the W.

Odds were correct as of a few hours ago. They can be viewed under 'Other Sports' over at 5Dimes.com.

  1. Anytime a participant is put in a retirement stip at Mania, they lose ( Flair at 24, HBK at 26). Anytime a power stip is on the line, the face wanting power wins (Team Cena at SS 14). So like you, it made me even more certain that Shane will win

  2. It seems that what they wanted was a John cena/undertaker match and were sweating on John cenas return which now isn't happening they appear just to have shoehorned Shane into the position and the stipulations are only there for effect and nothing more, I've watched for best part of 30 years and I've never known so many injuries to the main event level all at once so was a desperate attempt at creating a makeshift main event! While what Shane said is 100% right Vincent ain't daft he's seen the decline in ratings but Shane won't win but expecting big changes after mania. Sorely needed changes I would think
