WrestleMania 32 Live Betting Blog

This will be the start of the live WrestleMania blog. I'll update it before each mach and indicate what the closing odds from 5Dimes will be.

IC Ladder Match

Zack Ryder has entered as the -780 favourite.

Result: Zack Ryder wins. Wow, yesterday's shifts may end up being spot on after all.

AJ Styles .vs. Chris Jericho

The money went in on Chris Jericho yesterday. It was going back-and-forth most of the time, but Jericho has been the favourite for the majority of that time. He's entering this match as a -310 favourite (he was -210 when the PPV was starting). For what it's worth, AJ Styles is +230.

Result: Chris Jericho wins.

New Day .vs. League Of Nations

The League of Nations are coming in as -350 favourites. Their opponents are +250.

Result: League of Nations win, now let's see if my prediction of a post-match beatdown and a save by Steve Austin happens..

Brock Lesnar .vs. Dean Ambrose

Dean Ambrose is the +400 outsider here. Brock Lesnar has been backed from -490 to -600 from the start of the PPV right up to this point in the show.

Result: Favourites are now 7-0.

WWE Divas Championship

Charlotte is entering as a -650 favourite here. For what it's worth, Sasha Banks' odds have fallen from the +490 they were at the start of the show. She's now +440.  When the odds started coming in on Saturday, it was Sasha who was backed, If any of these favourites fail, I think this is the one.

Result: Charlotte wins. That's 8-0 for the favourites now.

Hell in a Cell

The Undertaker is coming in as a favourite. He was -310 at the start of the PPV, I don't have the closing odds but it was certainly Undertaker favoured. The Linda McMahon NOT to appear bet is dead. Taker's entrance lasted longer than five minutes, though!

Result: Undertaker wins. Hope you all got on the Shane to jump from the top of the cage prop!

Andre Battle Royal

John Cena is a -380 favourite to win here.

Result: Baron Corbin won. There were no lines out for him at 5Dimes. His name was mentioned on this morning's edition of Wrestling Observer Radio.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Roman Reigns is coming in a -1,050 favourite. Triple H is +550.

Result: Win for Reigns.

  2. I'm so surprised Zack won! Getting worried now though... That's 4 face victories.. Where are the heel wins going to come in? I really hope Jericho does not win... With Amell not being shown or getting in the ring I'm getting worried about my bets now...

    1. WWE doesn't leak results at all. It's all about reading the odds.

    2. Where do you think the big swing in odds originate though? Whonis actually gonna bet Ryder in to win the title that hard? Its clearly from information thats come along, eg insider knowledge.

    3. I didn't say it wasn't. The way Eric worded it is to imply WWE is leaking the results directly which is not how it goes.

People with knowledge of the finishes are moving the lines. Individuals, not WWE.

May seem pedantic and clutching straws, but that's how I see it.

    4. That's not a leak...the swing in odds can be interpreted differently no one has released information saying who's going to win.

    5. People within WWE are causing the lines to move. In a way that's WWE leaking results considering they are giving info (people employeed by WWE) to outsiders or themselves.

    6. Undertaker won...guys wake up. Someone within WWE let info out.

    7. You've missed the point I am trying to make.

I've covered this extensively for nearly three years. I had been following that for some time before that. I am aware that people with knowledge of the results are placing bets and that forces the line moves.
These people are doing so independently from the company that employs them.

  9. The closing odd were -840 for The Undertaker just before it got taken off the board he was -1020 before the divas match

  10. Shane jumped from the top of the cage!

  11. What was the odd for it?

  12. Am I missing Something? Where's Cena and wyatt Family? And have they only shown two ringside celebrities??

  13. I hate myself. I nearly put Baron on earlier at 17/1 but decided against it. Uughh

  14. In my opinion people with knowledge is WWE leaking. Worst WrestleMania ever? I'd say so, coming from someone who watched 31 and the previous 10 others.

  15. Now its time to just beg for a swerve of some type in the main event, or at least a sneaky little Conor entrance ;)
