Dean Ambrose .vs. Chris Jericho
The market for the asylum match was published this afternoon. When they first went up, Dean Ambrose was a -275 favourite (1pm BST). The customers have evidently backed him from that point as his price has shortened to -350.
In this same period, Y2J has gone from +195 to +250.
Fatal 4-Way
When I checked in this morning, the signs were pointing to Cesaro having seen some action as his price had fallen from +140 to +100. He is still available at those odds.
The same cannot be said of the other runners.
Sami Zayn's price has gone out from +800 to +1000, Kevin Owens is now +800 from +500 and The Miz's price has dropped from +155 into +125.
'The Field' outcomes have moved as follows:
- 'The Field' versus Sami Zayn has shortened from -1700 to -2000
- 'The Field' versus Kevin Owens went from -900 to -1700
- 'The Field' opposing Cesaro remained at -140
- 'The Field' versus The Miz has improved from -195 to -165
The takeaway from this market right now is the customers have taken The Miz to win and have no faith in Kevin Owens or Sami Zayn leaving New Jersey with the IC Title.
US Championship
Rusev has been backed today. His odds have moved slightly going from -260 to -270 while Kalisto's price to retain his title with a win has moved to +190 from +180.
Submission Match
Still no change. Charlotte is -840 and Natalya is +480.
Tag Team Championship
The current WWE Tag Team Champions, The New Day, have gone from -350 to -380 indicating the customers are banking on a retention through victory. The Vaudevilains are now +260 - only a ten point jump from where they were this morning.
Main Event
I noted earlier this evening that Roman Reigns is now a -1050 favourite after starting off the day at -600. The market has not changed since the brief update. AJ Styles is +550.
That was my final visit to the 5Dimes odds for tonight. I'm aiming to publish another update tomorrow morning.
Odds correct as of 10:30pm BST and can be viewed under 'Other Sports' at 5Dimes.com.
Something to consider (albeit kind of pulling at straws) since 2010 the superstar featured on the official extreme rules poster won their match. The last time this was wrong was in 2009 when Jericho defeated Rey mysterio (who was on the poster) so by going with recent years ambrose could win but it was jericho who last beat someone who featured on the poster etc. I found it very interesting myself!
ReplyDeleteThis is just a coincidence, but a good one.
