Taking Jericho OTB

In my previous post, I noted that the bwin Sportsbook has republished its betting odds for the outright winner of this year's Money in the Bank ladder match.

I was multi-tasking at the time of writing the post. I had the bwin website opened up and making a screen grab of the odds to share in the post when I thought I'd jump in on the 25/1 being offered on a Chris Jericho victory.

The website would only allow me to bet a few pounds (the maximum I could win was £11. Not good enough for me), so I went over to PartyPoker.com and went to see what the maximum I could bet over there was.

As Bwin and PartyPoker are partnering brands, all the markets and odds are identical across both websites. I wanted to see if I could get a better maximum stake. I could.

I was able to put on almost my entire deposit (£10) onto a Chris Jericho win.

Since placing the bet, the odds for Jericho have been taken off the board:

I made this speculative punt on Jericho after his price dropped in Bovada's MITB market around the time when discussions on who would win this year's Money in the Bank were in place. You can read more about this in Saturday's post titled 'Jericho To Win MITB?'

If you are with bwin.com, I recommend having the added cover of a PartyPoker.com account in case you find yourself in a similar predicament as me.

    1. I don't know. It really should be Kevin Owens.

    2. Can't overlook what went down at Bovada, though.
