The Morning After The Heavy MITB 2016 Betting Action

It is now a few hours since heavy Money in the Bank 2016 wagering forced some interesting price adjustments. I have returned to the betting board at 5Dimes.com to see where things now stand.

Firstly, I had a look at the markets at 5:30am BST. I noticed there were two additional match markets available. One is for the women's tag team match and the other is for the sngles match that sees Apollo Crews taking on Sheamus.

The odds for both of these matches are still the same as they were earlier on this morning. They are:

Charlotte/Dana Brooke -190
Natalya/Becky Lynch +150

Sheamus -120
Apollo Crews -120

As for the markets that have been available before last night? Well, the prices have changed in all of them.

Rusev's odds have now moved to -750 from -650 with Titus O'Neil going out from +420 to +450. It should be worth noting that, when the heavy action came in, this market remained untouched. Therefore, this has signs of fan money having moved the price on the favourite. I'd be cautious backing into this market for the following reasons.

1) The aforementioned point about the market not being hit when the big shifts came in
2) It's Father's Day on Sunday and Titus O'Neil is Father of the Year (Bryan Alvarez from F4WOnline.com came up with that one and I like it)

The punters have continued to pile on AJ Styles. His price is now -1050, far shorter than the -720 at 12am BST today. John Cena has moved out from +440 to +550.

New Day are -750 now. They had been -540 at 11:30pm BST yesterday. The rest of the Fatal 4-Way selections have moved as follows:

The Club out to +575 from +390
Enzo and Cass out to +1500 from +1250
The Vaudevillains remain on +8500

Roman Reigns' odds have also made into the minus thousands. He is now -1050 to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship with a victory over Seth Rollins (now +550 from +430).

Dean Ambrose's odds have dropped further. They have moved from -520 to -900 while Kevin Owens (+400 to +600) and Chris Jericho (+1250 to +3000) have moved out. Cesaro (+800), Sami Zayn (+10000) and Alberto Del Rio (+10000) have stayed where they were at midnight.

Interestingly, the Bovada Wrestling Betting Page is still showing all of the 5Dimes favourites at better odds. Here are the prices you can pick up for all of the potential winners:

AJ Styles -200
Roman Reigns -400
The New Day -200
Dean Ambrose +225

Prices were correct as of 8:30am. For the latest head over to 5Dimes.com's Betting Board, Bodog Canada's Wrestling Betting Page or Bovada USA's Wrestling Betting Page.

  3. I think Seth Rollins to win the Royal Rumble next year at 4/1 is very interesting pick now too. for a long time I've been thinking they are going to lead up to a triple threat shield match for the WWE title at Wrestlemania

    1. I'd hold off on that one for a moment.

    2. This is why I told you to hold off

Have a feeling we're getting it sooner than Mania and even SummerSlam.
