Lesnar SummerSlam Special Published

The very first betting market for SummerSlam 2016 has just been published after the traders at 888Sport.com released a special market where its customers can predict who Brock Lesnar will face on the August 21st show.

There are a lot of names on the list ranging from Roman Reigns, who is a 3/4 favourite, all the way down to The Rock at 66/1.

Lesnar will face Mark Hunt in one of the key fights on the UFC 200 card on July 9th. Both he and WWE have made a point about him returning to the company in time for SummerSlam.

The markets can be found under 'WWE' on the sports betting menu at the following websites:

  1. Interesting market. I've had a small bet on Randy Orton at 14/1. Looking down the list it's hard to see a viable opponent for Lesnar. An Orton/Lesnar feud has been touted as a dream match-up for years. Not sure on Orton's return date but had to have a nibble when he's double the odds of Strowman!

    1. Orton is very close apparently, so that does seem like a decent bet.

    2. It would be a great match but doubt they'd feed Orton to Lesnar so soon after his return. Especially after he apparently "took time off" from the business prior to him being injured, prob due to a lack of creative direction (according to Wrestling Inc)

  2. Goldberg should be on this list. Suplex City was flashed in his 2K17 video.

    1. He should be on the list, I agree. The match shouldn't be at SummerSlam, though!

  3. Orton now 8/1 and Goldberg added @ 14/1. I think Reigns will move away from Rollins after MITB, so it could be Reigns/Lesnar at Summerslam. And we all know Reigns will be the one to 'slay the beast' sooner or later.
