Going Back Over The 'Champion To Face MITB Winner' Odds

On June 3rd, I published  a post noting that there was a WWE betting market available where people can bet on the champion who this year's Mr. Money in the Bank will execute his title shot against.

I've had a second look over the market to see where the clients have been wagering. Here's what I've found:

In the June 3rd post, I made a case for John Cena being worthy of a look just in case there does end up being a new world championship established once the two brands split off later this summer. There evidently has been interest from others as Cena's odds have dipped from 6s to 4/1,

Seth Rollins moving out and Roman Reigns' coming in makes sense. Both are wrestling each other next weekend. I cannot see Reigns losing the strap to Rollins. I have placed a bet on Reigns being cashed in against as well as Cena.

The news that Brock Lesnar is set to return to the UFC for one night only came a day after the post. I surmise Lesnar was backed almost immediately after it was revealed he would fight at UFC 200 and be back in time for SummerSlam.

Another name who has been backed is Randy Orton. This is an interesting one considering he's near ready to return and will feature in a drama show - Shooter - which premieres on July 19th. Once again, I guess that this move is due to the person's name doing the rounds lately.

There's not much to write about the odds that have drifted out (in green). The majority of these selections are in the Money in the Bank ladder match, so one of these wrestlers will be the person cashing in on the champion.

The market is found alongside prices for Money in the Bank at the following:
