    1. I'm going to hazard a guess and state that the fans will end up siding with Styles here.

  2. Would you say this is where the club win the tag titles?

    1. In my opinion, Anderson & Gallows should win it ASAP.

Thor, Andrés and some people I see on Twitter have all been on about New Day breaking the length of London & Kendrick's tag title reign of 331 days (they're on day 291 at the moment).

I'm not really down with the idea of holding off on dropping titles so they pad a mythical stat at the expense of putting the belts on a team to build them up.

I believe the lineage of the tag titles should go back further than the Smackdown titles of 2002. It kind of makes its history somewhat redundant if reigns before 2002 are disregarded.

      Okay, rant over!

    2. On top of that thought, one way to get heat on A&G is to make a big deal out of New Day going for that record and then hitting the roadblock to stop them. It does two things: heats up the heels and puts sympathy on the babyfaces. That's how it should be done.

  3. IDK Mr Taylor... trading wins with Usos is not how WWE build up their next WTTC.

One of the New Day members made mention on Twitter about breaking some other record with their reign. I think they care about this stuff.

I also read a rumor before WM that Enzo & Cass were next in line for the titles.

I think the 4-Way is there to ensure The Club doesn't take another pin, while also teasing tension between New Day and Enzo & Cass.

    1. WWE has Usos in the top tier when it comes to babyface tag teams so, based on their 50/50 booking (but not how I would do it!), they would see it as fair game to have them share wins against the top tier heel team.

The record that was broken is the cumulative days of reigns. As with the single reign record, it only dates back to 2002.

I didn't see anything about Enzo & Cass being next in line for titles in any pre-Mania stuff I was reading. All I saw was reports about them eventually debuting on the main roster.

The 4-Way could very well be there to protect Anderson & Gallows from a loss.
