Fans Finally Backing Styles To Win At MITB 2016

WWE fans have finally started to back AJ Styles to defeat John Cena at this weekend's Money in the Bank event.

Cena's outsider odds to win the match had dropped ever since the market was published earlier on this week.

The initial numbers I have are Cena +160 and Styles -210. The lowest I have is from last night which showed +130 for Cena and -170 for his opponent.

They are both now resting on Cena +150 and Styles -190. This had been where the pair had been for two days between Tuesday and Thursday.

I believe the bets are now going in the right direction.

I strongly believe AJ Styles will win the bout. On Raw, Styles chose to sign a match contract that excluded The Club from being involved in the match. This evidently favoured Cena to win. As it's WWE booking, I expect a swerve of some kind. I have noted numerous times for the past few months that I expect Finn Balor to show up to the main roster at any point from Money in the Bank onwards.

Either that or they just go and have The Club interfere anyway. Styles is a heel, he can do things like that.

Another thing that has led me to believe AJ Styles will win is that he'll be Steve Austin's guest on the 'Stone Cold' Podcast the following night. I know it's not a huge deal if he appears on the show following a loss, but I get the feeling - whatever the result - the match will be one of the most talked about parts of the interview. Having him in there as the winner would help.

This is the only market that has seen signs of action since last night's update.
