Bwin's SummerSlam 2016 Odds For August 3rd

Here are the WWE SummerSlam 2016 odds currently available from bwin.com.

It has been a couple of days since I last published a post about these odds.

The US Championship market was added yesterday. I like Roman Reigns as a 7/5 outsider only because he has lost two PPV matches in succession. However, if he is turning heel, he could afford another loss here. The match isn't confirmed yet, but - going by how things went on Raw with Roman Reigns and Rusev  - it does seem to be the way things are going.

Another thing - I might be reading too much into this, but the first pay-per-view for Raw is titled Clash of Champions. Could this mean the US Champ and Universal Champion are meeting each other on September 25th?

Brock Lesnar's odds have shortened from 1/2 to 2/5 while Randy Orton backers can now select him at a better 7/4. He was 7/5 two days ago.

The only other change has occurred in the WWE Women's Championship market. Sasha Banks has been backed from 1/4 to 1/10 while Charlotte has drifted out from 13/5 to 19/4.

Odds correct as of 2:20pm BST and available from bwin.com.

  1. I still dont have a strong position about SS market ,just a copule of words of every match

Banks and Ambrose should win their matches, theres nosense otherwise, odds are just too short,no bet.
Balor and Rollins is a coin flip to me,how far they want to push Balor? 2.40 for him Its a good price
Rusev vs RR ,it is not a given, you got upmidcarders like Cesaro ,Zayn an Owens with no rivalry and they definetly will take part on Summerslam .May be a fatal 4 way? I ll pass

Lesnar and Orton,Its tricky too but I think Brock will get the upper hand, after his UFC issues and being humillated at Raw,I cant see him losing ,in addition they should reserve Lesnar for pushing another wrestler,Orton is a consolidated MarĂn eventer and a L wont hurt him at all. However 1.40 is not good enough to me .I am passing here too.

From now i ve only backed Balor low/mid stake.

    1. I don't think they'd do the angle with Roman Reigns and Rusev if it's leading to a fatal 4-way. If you're right and it is, the bet is still in play per the terms as it's 'who will win the US Championship match'.

Everything has evened out now with Lesnar and Orton after last night. I still believe it'll be the latter.
