Backlash Sunday Morning Odds

It's finally Backlash Sunday and I've just had a look at the betting markets that are available from the 5Dimes Sportsbook - the first of many visits for the day. If you read the last post I published yesterday, there has been no change in any of the prices. If you didn't, read on as I go through each market available.

The Usos .vs. Hype Bros

This market was first published on Friday evening with The Usos selection being favoured. It was -350 at around 10pm that night with the opposition +250. The wagers immediately came in on the heels. They're currently -1200 while the Hype Bros are out at +600 after opening +250.

The Tag Team Tournament Outright Winners

The market was first put up early on Thursday with 'Heath Slater/Rhyno Win Tournament' versus 'The Field wins tournament'. The finalists were -155 at 4:45am on Thursday morning with 'The Field' out at +115.

By Friday evening, the oddsmakers released individual markets where customers could wager on the other two teams. At this point, Slater/Rhyno were -150, The Usos +155 and Hype Bros +800.

Heavy wagers have came in on Heath Slater and Rhyno as they're now -765. The other runners' numbers are:

Usos +490
Hype Bros +3300.

Six-Pack Challenge Winner

This market opened on Thursday morning with all six selections available for the customer to punt on. At the point when I noticed the lines up, Becky Lynch was +150 and Nikki Bella was +350.

Within a short while, it became clear the customers were backing Nikki Bella to become the first ever WWE Smackdown Women's Champion as she entered favouritism by the end of the day. Her odds had fallen to -170 when I viewed them the following morning.  At that point, Becky Lynch's price was up to +170. It was all downhill from there.

Friday wagers moved Lynch from outsider to favourite. She is now available at -750 while the Bella Twin is up to +550.

The other four selections' prices are:

Natalya +3500
Alexa Bliss +5000
Carmella +6000
Naomi +6500

Another selection worth noting is the 'Field .vs. Becky Lynch'. It's currently +450 to entice punters to fade the present fave.

Randy Orton .vs. Bray Wyatt

This one opened with Randy Orton the bookie's choice. He was -130 at 4:45am Thursday and was backed to around -350 on Friday before heavy betting moved him in to -900.

Bray Wyatt's odds went from +130 to +250 to +500 in the same period.

As of right now, Orton is -1350 and his rival is +650.

The Miz .vs. Dolph Ziggler

This has been my favourite market to follow. It opened with The Miz a heavy favourite to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship over Dolph Ziggler. He was -600 and the challenger was out at +400.

Ziggler's odds began the descent from there. By Friday, when the big bets came in, he was moved into -160 favourite while Wyatt went out to +120.

As of this morning, Ziggler is the heavy-fave at minus nine hundred. The champ is +500.

WWE World Championship

This one opened a near pick 'em, On Thursday morning, it was showing Dean Ambrose -105 and Styles -135.

The customers were favouring Styles from the start. However, between 12am and 4:40am yesterday morning, Styles' odds went from -290 to -900. At this point, it became clear that the plan is for Styles to at least win the match tonight. In the period where the increased attention came in on Styles, Ambrose's price shot up from +210 to +500.

The morning line has the current WWE World Champion out at +700 while Styles is now -1500.

Even though everything does look locked in for tonight, it goes without saying that late changes could be made so it's always best to continue following the odds right up to showtime and beyond.
