Paddy Power's Backlash 2016 Odds

Paddy Power is the latest sports betting company to release betting odds for this Sunday's WWE Backlash event.

The oddsmakers have published six markets for customers to bet on. Here are the prices as of just before 10am BST this morning.

Nikki Bella is 4/7 to become the first WWE Smackdown Women's Champion with a win in the Six-Pack Challenge. Her opponents' numbers are: Becky Lynch 21/10, Natalya 6/1, Alexa Bliss 14/1, Carmella 22/1 and Naomi 22/1.

Randy Orton is 2/5 to go over Bray Wyatt (7/4).

WWE Intercontinental Champion - The Miz - is 1/5 to retain the strap with a decision over Dolph Ziggler. A winning punt on the challenger will pay out at odds of 16/5.

WWE Champion, Dean Ambrose, is a 9/5 outsider to be awarded the victory over AJ Styles (2/5).

The traders have two markets for the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship tournament as they've installed a match market for the qualifier between The Usos and Hype Bros as well as an overall market where clients can punt on the overall winner.

The 'Second Chance Tag Team Match' favours The Usos as they're 2/5 while the Hype Bros are 9/5.

The Usos are also at the top of the outright winner market as they're 4/5. Finalists, Heath Slater and Rhyno are 5/4  second-faves and the Hype Bros are 15/2.

Betting is scheduled to close at 11:30pm BST on Sunday evening. You can view all the prices by following this link to Paddy Power's WWE Betting Page.

  1. I have a strange feeling carmella will get eliminated 4th, and then get back I'm the ring to screw Nikki over from winning the title. Natalya seems a good punt, so then Nikki has a heel to face later down the line - though this is the "new" era, so maybe a newer diva will win it. Interesting!

    1. I think it's Nikki and Carmella last. The entire build up has been giving it away.

    2. Do you agree with all the current favourites? I can't imagine them giving AJ the title so soon into the feud and slater/rhino seemed a good punt unless rhyno turns heel

    3. Speculation on Natalya is that she's on her way out with her husband Tyson Kidd.

I still think it will be Nikki. Last PPV the odds on Charlotte were also slashed severely within the first 48 hours of 5Dimes putting them up... It was smart money and probably is now too.

The way the odds are right now it looks like 3-2 in favor of the heels. I wonder what more matches they will add.

    4. I don't know where this speculation about Natalya is coming from. I highly doubt she is going anywhere considering she's still a cast member on Total Divas.

    5. Thor, did you mean Sasha in the first 48 hours because that's what I reckon?

    6. Yes, Sasha was -1350 favorite on Monday before SummerSlam as I recall, then the odds shifted in Charlotte's favor by the time we had reached... Wednesday was it? You'll recall these details better than me, Mr Taylor.

I don't think Nikki's odd would have been cut in more than half if this was fan money. Who's being lined up as new champions on the SD brand was probably decided ahead of the draft, and that's why Nikki's odds dropped so quickly.

    7. Gonna stick my neck out & agree with Jordan's original post & say that Carmella will cost Nikki the title at the end & im going with Alexa Bliss as champ.

    8. If you think Nikki isn't going over, you have to place a speculative punt on Carmella as well.

    9. I think they will try to get 2 feuds going out of this match. Carmella v Nikki is already established so maybe you put the title on Alexa & have Becky chase her? Longshot i know but still possible. But i cant see them having Carmella submit Nikki on SD & then have her walk out as champ too.

    10. There are already feuds associated with this match with Natalya/Becky and Nikki/Carmella.

      Everything points to Nikki, imo.

  2. Would be great if you could get confirmation of when bwin/PartySports are closing as well, Mr Taylor. Last PPV they closed earlier than usual I think.

    1. Bwin/Party are no longer taking bets on WWE.

    2. I'll bet that they'll be back on board in time for the bigger events such as Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania.

    3. Hope so, but I wouldn't bet on it.

    4. Bwin, and especially its trader in charge of WWE odds, were great with all the early odds etc.

    5. Their traders must have re-evaluated WWE betting when the additional events were announced. They will be back for Wrestlemania, David- wait and see!

    6. I know the trader personally. It was a management decision.
