In yesterday's post, I noted that the firms had published prop markets where customers can bet on head-to-heads, the first person eliminated and the last person eliminated in the bout.
Head-to-head number one saw the bookies put up Nikki Bella to perform better than Becky. They had the Bella Twin at 2/5 and Lynch at 7/4. They have now switched with Becky a 1/10 favourite and Nikki out at 19/4.
Becky doing better than Natalya was also a matchbet that was published. It opened with Becky 4/5 and her current nemesis at 9/10. The former has been moved into a far steeper 1/15 since her odds tumbled overseas. A winning punt on Natalya will now pay out at 6/1.
In yesterday's post, I suggested that Alexa Bliss at 2/1 over Naomi (33/100) was worth a look considering Bliss is a newcomer to the main roster and the only way to get over properly is to have a good showing in this match. Therefore, I called for her to last a little longer than Naomi. The oddsmakers have now moved Bliss to 1/2 and Naomi has jumped out to 7/5.
The final head-to-head on the board is one where Nikki goes up against her current foe, Carmella. Carmella's odds have dropped from 15/4 to 7/4 potentially due to the fact that, when the market was first installed, it appeared as though Nikki was pegged to win it. Nikki remains a favourite, but her odds are better now (2/5) than they were yesterday (1/7).
Alexa and Naomi are now both joint-favourites to be eliminated first. They're on 33/25. Naomi had opened at 11/4, so it's her number that appears to have been backed. Alexa opened at even money. The other adjustments have been:
Natalya from 11/4 to 7/2
Becky from 4/1 to 14/1
Carmella has dropped slightly from 4/1 to 7/2.
Nikki remains at 5/1
A frequent visitor, Jordan, left this note earlier today in regards to the last eliimination market:
Nikki Bella last eliminated at 3/1 seems a good choice. I'm going to imagine Carmella screws her over and Becky takes advantage
I'm not really down with having two babyfaces in the final and then having one taking advantage of the other following outside interference. I can see the scenario with Carmella costing Nikki, but would hazard a guess that Nikki will be ousted to leave Becky with another heel. It sort of makes sense for it to be Natalya considering the pair are rivals. The oddsmakers and bettors seem to be on this mindset as well as they now have Natalya at 11/20 to be the final participant. To compare - she opened at 11/2.
Alexa Bliss' odds have been adjusted down from 17/1 to 14/1. She could fit in as the heel, and it plays into my theory that she should have a good showing in the match. For the record, I have had a small punt on her being last at 14s.
Here's how this market has changed since yesterday:
Carmella from 4/5 to 6/4
Becky from 23/20 to 8/1
Nikki stays at 3/1
Natalya 11/2 to 11/20
Alexa 17/1 to 14/1
Naomi 17/1 to 14/1
These odds are correct as of 12pm BST and can be found under 'WWE' on the websites list on THIS PAGE.
