Looking Through Betfair's Backlash 2016 Markets

It has been three days since Betfair published its WWE Backlash 2016 odds, so - in this post - I'll run through all of the markets and see where the current prices differ from how they opened.

Randy Orton .vs. Bray Wyatt

The market opened with Randy Orton at 40/85 and Wyatt 6/4. Orton's price has been backed down to 1/14. It's worth noting that he had been 2/7 yesterday afternoon, so the money is evidently continuing to come in on him.

Bray Wyatt is now 6/1, but had been 9/4 yesterday.

The Miz .vs. Dolph Ziggler

The Miz opened as a 1/4 favourite to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship with a W over Dolph Ziggler. The oddsmakers put Ziggler out at 5/2.

Following off-shore betting in favour of Ziggler, he became an odds-on fave and is now available at 1/8.

A win for Miz backers will pay out at 9/2.

Tag Team Tournament Winner

The Usos were installed at 4/5 to become the first WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions. The team of Heath Slater and Rhyno were put up at 4/5 and the Hype Bros were 11/2.

The end-of-week moves have gone the way of Slater and Rhyno as their price is now 1/6. The other selections are: The Usos 4/1 and Hype Bros 20/1.

Six-Pack Challenge

This market opened with Nikki Bella a 4/6 favourite. She was followed by Becky Lynch at 6/4.

Lynch has now become the fave. She's a short 1/8.  Nikki Bella has now moved up to 9/2.

The other changes have been:
Natalya from 11/2 to 28/1
Alexa Bliss from 8/1 to 40/1
Carmella from 16/1 to 50/1
Naomi from 16/1 to 50/1

WWE Championship

WWE Champion, Dean Ambrose, was installed as an 11/8 outsider with AJ Styles a 8/15 fave. The moves have gone the way of the challenger. Therefore, his price has shortened to 1/4.

This has left Ambrose's price to jump up to 6/1.
