Lesnar's Mania 33 Opponent Poll : The Results

A couple of days ago, I published a post asking for visitors of WWELeaks.org to share the name of the wrestler who they believe will wrestle Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33 in April 2017.

The reason why I asked for this information is because I had requested a market be published where customers could bet on Lesnar's opponent being one of four options - Bill Goldberg, Shane McMahon, Samoa Joe or 'Any Other'.

I came up with this idea after a visitor posted a passionate comment in another post where he made a strong case for Bill Goldberg. I thought I would check in to see if it was possible to publish a market where people with a strong opinion like that could bet on Goldberg.

I've been of the opinion that it could be Shane McMahon or even Samoa Joe so asked for their names to be on the list as well. I can't see it being anybody other than those three, but recommended an 'Any Other' option.

The trader liked the case that was made for Goldberg, and asked me to publish a post where visitors could leave a name of the person they thought would end up meeting Lesnar in seven months time.Possibly to see whether it was worthwhile doing a short list or a list with more names.

I had a couple of comments that came in from people believing we were doing the bookmaker's job for them and this was not the case. This person is a wrestling fan and is fully aware of the rumours of Bill Goldberg, Shane and Samoa Joe being potential opponents for Brock Lesnar at Mania 33.

With all that said, here are the results. One 'Anonymous' comment for The Undertaker wasn't published because he or she was requesting visitors to select different names than who they thought to throw off the bookmaker. I felt that this would disrupt what I was trying to do, but still kept their pick. A similar 'Mojo Rawley' selection is also recorded.

Goldberg 3
Shane McMahon 3
Braun Strowman 2
Samoa Joe 1
The Rock 1
AJ Styles 1
Mojo Rawley 1
The Undertaker 1
Rusev 1
Roman Reigns 1

Now I'm going to share these results with the person in question and see what can be done.

Thank you to everyone who participated.
