Universal Champion At The End Of WrestleMania 33 Betting

The oddsmakers at GrosvenorCasinos.com and all the websites that appear on this list published a handful of WWE betting odds yesterday evening. In this post, I'll look at the market where customers can wager on who they believe will be the WWE Universal Champion at the time when WrestleMania 33 goes off the air.

Former Universal Champion, Finn Balor, is a 6/4 joint-favourite alongside Seth Rollins who has been in the title picture since the new championship was established weeks ago.

Roman Reigns is next up at 5/2 as the list goes all the way down to The Rock at 33s. The entire board can be viewed in the image below.

If Finn Balor makes it back in time for WrestleMania, then - in my opinion - he should be the person challenging whoever is the Universal Champion.

Roman Reigns is another name worth a mention due to the fact that WWE has put him in the major WrestleMania title matches for the past two years.

Seth Rollins as a joint-favourite isn't appealing. I feel it's safe to presume that Rollins will wrestle Triple H at WrestleMania 33 in a match that was originally on the table for this year's Mania.

The hint that Rollins versus HHH will feature on the April 2nd card was alluded to this past Monday when Triple H did The Pedigree to Rollins. This assisted  Kevin Owens to claim the Universal Championship.

Brock Lesnar will be in a major bout on the card, but I doubt he'll be given a championship if he's set to go on another one of his post-WrestleMania hiatuses.

It's really just Finn Balor or Roman Reigns that's standing out. I obviously think the former makes more sense considering his return from injury would make the most compelling story.

  1. I think Seth Rollins vs HHH will be early than WrestleMania 33

Had similar comments when I was predicting Reigns/HHH for Mania 32.
