Two matches that were scheduled for No Mercy appear to be off.
Firstly, the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship match has been scratched from the card. This is due to Becky Lynch being unable to wrestle. This news broke yesterday, but has just been confirmed during the event's Kick-Off show.
The match will now take place on the Smackdown that will be filmed in Glasgow in November.
It also appears Curt Hawkins' debut has been pushed back until the upcoming episode of Smackdown. The returnee made an appearance during the pre-show and revealed he would wrestle on Tuesday.
Who thinks the WWE is actually making changes on useless matches like this based on this whole betting on wrestling?
ReplyDeleteNone. WWE wants betting on wrestling because it adds viewers (same reason NFL likes fanduel) but what they don't want is leaks.
ReplyDeleteHave they removed corbin vs swagger?
ReplyDeleteYes.
DeleteCompletely removed it from tonight?!
DeleteOh, I thought Jordan was asking if 5Dimes had removed it.
DeleteLike you said, it'll be on the main card because they were talking about it earlier.
Strange but hey-ho
DeleteStyles odds just fell to -1050
ReplyDeleteIt's Ambrose's odds that fell.
DeleteAmbrose odds went from +1425 to +1350 long before Styles went from -1700 to -1050. I noted that move at least 30 mins ago.
DeleteTo be fair i dont think hawkins was ever having a match, just that he would step in the ring.
ReplyDeleteYou're right.
