No Mercy 2016 Betting Update

I've had a number of people ask me about the status of the No Mercy betting markets. Here's what I know.

Of the domestic bookies (I'm in the UK), I know of three bookmakers that have been planning to price the markets up. As with previous updates, I don't want to give out the names of these companies in case things fall through. However, it's obvious that William Hill is one as it's looking for prop bet ideas (you can leave your ideas in this post).

(Update: After publishing this post, William Hill has confirmed to me that its No Mercy betting odds will be released on Saturday morning. This will be the case for all minor WWE shows on the calendar moving forward. Major events like SummerSlam, WrestleMania, Survivor Series will be put up midweek)

As for 5Dimes.com, I have been given conflicting estimated times. A couple of visitors have told me they've been in touch with the sportsbook and were given time-frames. Both of these times conflict with each other and they also contrast with the ETA I was given!

Further to this, I feel it's worth noting that the past few months have seen more PPVs added to the WWE calendar and - on top of that - there has been peculiar betting activity on the markets when they've been released days-to-weeks ahead of a PPV. So, it shouldn't be that much of a shock to see the markets being released later than we've been used to of late.

The last point leads on from this and it may explain why I am not panicking just yet - I've tracked every special event since the summer of 2013. That's 42 shows on my count. Twenty-three of these events didn't have odds released until four days, or less, before the respective show.

Over here, the British/European firms appeared to wait until 5Dimes took the lead and release their markets at the end of a PPV week. This was usually on Friday afternoons, but there had been times when they didn't see the light of day until a Saturday.

We've gotten used to seeing markets up earlier, but sometimes it's best to remember how it used to be done. It could be an approach that the firms are taking now that there are more shows to deal with as well as the wacky betting that has been obvious recently.

  2. "All good things must come to an end"...I hope this currently isn't the case and don't think so either. I believe that bookies have been taking a hit on some of these bets do they are just trying to switch up their strategy, which is understandable. I hope these sites continue putting up odds and new sites start offering them for us USA players. Bovada hasn't offered odds since summerslam :(
Good luck this weekend to all! I'm always happy when players win money from all these bookies!

  3. The best way to make money from wrestling now seems like the prop markets. Long may they live
