Sky Bet's No Mercy Odds

The oddsmakers at SkyBet.com have published  prices for tomorrow's WWE No Mercy PPV.

If you had read this post when it was first put up, you may have noticed I caught the markets as they were being published. I have now tidied it up now that all the odds are available. Below are the opening odds.

Baron Corbin has been installed as a 1/10 favourite to win the Kick-Off against Jack Swagger. A winning bet on the latter will pay out at odds of 5/1.

Randy Orton is 8/13 to defeat Bray Wyatt (6/5).

Becky Lynch is a short 1/20 to keep the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship in her first PPV defence. Her challenger, Alexa Bliss, is 8/1.

The Usos are 1/3 to claim a victory against the current WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions, Heath Slater and Rhyno. The titleholders are 9/4.

Nikki Bella is 1/5 to be awarded a win over Carmella (100/30).

Dolph Ziggler is 8/15 to get the W over The Miz in the WWE Intercontinental Championship bout on the card. If The Miz wins at 11/8, he'll force his opponent into retirement.

Finally, the traders have interestingly given their customers the opportunity to take Dean Ambrose and John Cena as a package deal to win the WWE Championship in the main event. They have 'The Field' at 8/1 while AJ Styles is 1/16 to walk out with a tick in the win column. If I'm not mistaken, I believe this is the first time that Sky Bet has priced up a triple threat match in this manner. Not that it means much this month as I strongly believe AJ Styles will retain.

  1. Ambrose a 1/16 favourite to win or is it a typo?

  2. Current odds dictate that it will be 4-2 in favor of the faces on main card. If the odds in the Miz vs Ziggler bout flip (which I think they will), then again it's 3-3...

    1. Actually I do think Miz is winning. I've read all sorts of speculation on Ziggler - from producer, to hiatus and forming a new stable, to retirement.

When Miz loses it will be like the Honkytonk factor when Warrior won his first IC belt. I think the title change is reserved for someone new, maybe a Nakamura (soft style vs strong style).

I also think the way they've treated Ziggler last months (losing 3 PPVs in a row + high-profile match against Styles on SD), is typical booking of someone who is either on his way out or being repackaged.

    2. I read about Ziggler and the shooters club idea. Nothing else.

I think he's winning, but it'll be after Miz cheats to win at first. Daniel Bryan orders a restart.

As for Nakamura - when he comes up, I hope he's higher up the card than that!

    3. ^ The match idea is something somebody else came up with that I like. Credit where it's due!
