Kambi's Survivor Series Specials : 5-on-5 Men

A short while ago, I published a post noting that the oddsmakers at Kambi have published match and prop markets for the upcoming 30th Annual Survivor Series.

In this post, I'll concentrate on the specials that have been released for the 5-on-5 male elimination match.

Before I begin, I'd like to point out that I haven't placed any wagers on these matches as of the time of writing.

Number of Survivors on Winning Team

The choices are:
Exactly One 1/5
2 or More 3/1

I can see both options coming in. This obviously means I'm going to pass on this one. If I had to make a stab in the dark, regulars will know I'm going to take the better price.

Best Finishing Position

The traders have priced up the following matchbets:

Kevin Owens 33/100
Chris Jericho 2/1

Roman Reigns 13/20
Seth Rollins 11/10

AJ Styles 13/20
Dean Ambrose 11/10

Bray Wyatt 18/25
Randy Orton EVS

Braun Strowman EVS
Shane McMahon 18/25

Braun Strowman 13/20
Bray Wyatt 11/10

Kevin Owens 4/5
AJ Styles 9/10

Shane McMahon 11/10
AJ Styles 13/20

Roman Reigns 9/10
Seth Rollins 6/4
Dean Ambrose 6/4

The selections I like the look of are: Braun Strowman to outlast Shane and AJ Styles to outlast Kevin Owens. The market where the three ex-Shield members are against each other seems to be spot on with Roman Reigns, but I have a feeling Reigns and Rollins will end up being the final two.

First Team to Suffer An Elimination

Team Raw EVS
Team Smackdown 18/25

For some reason, the Team Raw option stands out. I guess it's because I have a feeling they'll be the winning side.

Listed Participant to Survive Elimination

There are four options available. They are:

AJ Styles 7/5
Kevin Owens EVS
Roman Reigns 17/20
Shane McMahon 5/4

The idea I have that Team Raw will end up going over means I'm leaning on Roman Reigns.

Kevin Owens' Method of Elimination

Pinfall 9/50
Submission 10/1
Any Other Method 6/4

The odds are spot on, in my opinion. If he's eliminated, it'll likely be by pinfall.

Roman Reigns' Method of Elimination

Pinfall 1/2
Submission 10/1
Any Other 3/4

It's worth noting that, if Roman Reigns is one of the survivors, the bets on his method of elimination will be voided. It's a pass,

Braun Strowman Method of Elimination

Pinfall EVS
Submission 14/1
Any Other 3/10

This is exactly how I would do it. If he isn't a survivor, he'll be counted out or disqualified.

AJ Styles' Method of Elimination

Pinfall 1/4
Submission 8/1
Any Other 7/5

I like the 'Any Other'. Sure, he could end up being pinned, but I like the idea of him walking out on his team. It'll give The Undertaker reason to carry out the threat he did on Tuesday where he said he'd go after the person responsible for Team Smackdown's loss.

Shane McMahon's Method of Elimination

Pinfall 2/5
Submission 6/1
Any Other 11/10

I'm going out on a limb and selecting the submission. It'll be a nice subtle setup to the possible Brock Lesnar match if Shane is seen passing out from a submission move.

First Eliminated Participant

Chris Jericho 2/1
Randy Orton 2/1
Braun Strowman 5/2
Bray Wyatt 4/1
Shane McMahon 4/1
Dean Ambrose 6/1
Seth Rollins 6/1
AJ Styles 7/1
Kevin Owens 7/1
Roman Reigns 8/1

I have no idea who to pick here!

Last Eliminated Participant

Shane McMahon EVS
Roman Reigns 2/1
AJ Styles 3/1
Braun Strowman 4/1
Dean Ambrose 4/1
Kevin Owens 6/1
Seth Rollins 6/1
Bray Wyatt 9/1
Chris Jericho 14/1
Randy Orton 14/1

I like Dean Ambrose in this spot. It makes no sense, but I would like to see the former Shield members in the final three overall. He's also main eventing the next PPV, so should have a good run in this match.

Just like Tony Schiavone, I'm totally out of time. I'll be back in a few hours with more...

These markets, and many more, can be found across all of these websites.

  1. I see in the men's 5 on 5 raw down to just roman reigns Vs Ambrose and AJ, with reigns conquering them both to pick up the win for raw.
If you can see both happening take the 3/1! I see it happening in something like the women's match and then, they argue about who was the person to get the team the win
