Rumble 2017 Odds Notes For December 15th

Here's the latest WWE 2017 Royal Rumble odds notes from the three domestic bookmakers with outright winner markets.

The prices are still the same as they were when I published a post earlier this week where I pointed out that the numbers for Hulk Hogan and Chris Jericho had shortened.

Sami Zayn's odds have fallen from 33/1 to 12/1 since Monday. I guess the angle on Raw, where Mick Foley tried - and succeeded - to get Zayn fired up, may have resulted in a few people thinking this renaissance could lead to a Royal Rumble win.

I enjoyed the segment on Raw, but it didn't cross my mind that it was anything more than what it was - a setup for Zayn's match against Braun Strowman at Roadblock.

The only difference between now and the most recent visit is that Sheamus' odds have now been trimmed from 33/1 into 14/1. This moves him into the same area as his tag team partner, Cesaro.

Sheamus is another unlikely winner, in my opinion. By the Rumble, he and Cesaro will likely be WWE Raw Tag Team Champions.

  1. Why aren't 5Dimes and the Kambi sportsbooks putting odds up for the Rumble? They usually have this market up by now.

I'd say 17 odds on Undertaker is good value, if for no other reason than the event being held in Texas.

    1. Kambi had odds up, but were taken down a number of weeks ago.

Not sure about 5Dimes. For this year's Rumble, the markets were up in the summer of 2015 as you know, but - in the years previous to that - the market was published a few weeks beforehand.
