Rumble Winning Number Stats And Odds

Here's something that I've just thrown together that might be of use to anyone looking to have a bet on the Royal Rumble winning number market that I wrote about in the most recent post.

From 1988 up to 2016

A few notes:

As the table highlights - it's the number twenty-seven slot that has been where the company has booked the most winners. They were in 1989, 1993, 1994 and 2001.

The 1994 Rumble had two winners in Bret Hart and Lex Luger, so I counted number 23 as well as 27.

The winners who have came out as the thirtieth entrant have done so in 2007. 2008 and 2016. Could this be another occasion where the winners came it at number 30 in back-to-back years? I doubt they even think of things like that, so I wouldn't buy any stock in it.

Number 38 was when Alberto Del Rio won the 40-man Royal Rumble in 2011.

The market is available over at Paddy Power's WWE Betting Page.
