Shane McMahon To Make An Announcement On Smackdown - A Betting Opportunity?

Shane McMahon will make an announcement at the start of tonight's Smackdown.

I don't know what it is, but - if it's to throw his name into the 2017 WWE Royal Rumble - then you might be able to catch him at 5/2 to be an official Rumble entrant at both PaddyPower.com and Betfair.com.

As noted, I do not know for certain whether he will reveal his intentions to participate in the battle royal, but thought it was worth mentioning.

Thanks to Sam for bringing this to my attention.

  1. He could open it to a 40 man Rumble, or declare a Womens Rumble after the cage match between Alexa and Becky. Hope he enters though, he'd make it even more entertaining!

    1. Another thing it could be is something to do with the world title match. Like have a certain local guy as a special referee.

    2. This year's Rumble to be a 40-man rumble could be interesting. Would enable WWE to showcase more talent and wrestlers to have stronger performances with more guys to eliminate.

    3. I hope it isn't a 40-man Rumble because it'll be a mess with all the bets people have placed on the 30th man etc.

    1. We knew there was going to be an Elimination Chamber match, but we didn't know if it would be for the title or number one contender.
