Wyatt, Harper And Styles Prices Fall In Mania Betting

The odds for Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and AJ Styles to be WWE Champion after WrestleMania 33 have been cut at PaddyPower.com.

WWE Champion, Wyatt, remains a second-favourite to still be the titleholder at the close of this year's Mania. However, his price has now dipped into 6/4 from 13/8.

The two other selections that have been snipped are Luke Harper and AJ Styles. It isn't surprising. They drew in the battle royal to determine Wyatt's WrestleMania opponent on last night's edition of Smackdown, so I guess there are punters out there expecting either wrestler to make it to the title match at WrestleMania.

Harper and Styles are scheduled to wrestle next Tuesday to confirm who will challenge Wyatt at WrestleMania 33.

Not so fast.

I strongly believe that the story is simply setting up the rumoured AJ Styles versus Shane McMahon match for WrestleMania. I fully expect Randy Orton to end up challenging Wyatt for the championship and then Styles being forced to relinquish the title opportunity to build more animosity between he and Shane McMahon.

For what it's worth, the oddsmakers have cut Harper from 6/1 into 5/1 and Styles is now 6/1 from 10s.

As a result of the changes that have been made to the three selections, Randy Orton's price has improved slightly. It was 3/10 yesterday.

The other changes have seen John Cena move out from 7s to 10s, Baron Corbin from 16/1 to 20/1 and Dean Ambroe from 22/1 to 33/1.

When available, the market can be found under 'WrestleMania Champion Specials' on Paddy Power's WWE Betting Page.

  1. I had my paddypower account ready incase Luke won last night whilst watching. Wasn't missing out on 6/1 if he won, but as it was a draw it's clear they are not prepared to put luke in the main event picture just yet

  2. Hey man, how about Luke added into WWE championship match and have Wyatt family Triple threat match

    1. I don't think that's going to happen. Everything seems to be setting up for AJ vs Shane. Notice how Shane wasn't there last night so they went to the draw?
